This is probably the first tsunami tidal wave BeamNG has ever seen that also has an impact on the surrounding area. This is a short visual concept film (sort of a visual trailer) for a possible larger project that could also come later this year, then with plot and good voice actors. As well as lots of CGI, but also practical effects. Learned a lot of cool things: starting at minute 1:28, you can see what is theoretically possible with particles in BeamNG. That's 1,876 particle emitters all lined up and placed side by side to create a ripping flash flood. But cars don't react to particles, so I had to come up with something else to make the cars get carried away by the flood (remains my secret though) ;D Maybe you can guess? Feedback on the visuals would be much appreciated! Many thanks guys
Crash Frontier, one day you could make a tutorial on how you make your movies, like FrlzErls did in 2019. But it's just a suggestion.
I'm not Crash Frontier, but Tsunami was made by CGI and BeamNG water particles. --- Post updated --- That's all he said about it.
Yeah there actually isn't much more to it. For the cars to be dragged down the water flow I created a no-friction slide that I hid in replay. That way it looked like the cars would actually be affected by the water particles Thanks guys!!
