6.8 2V V10 has been added it’s a monster. Having issues with the mesh, but will get a picture out soon. --- Post updated --- Good point, I’ve got to edit the weight a little bit. This one starts at like 2800 pounds whereas irl it is around 3200.
stupid idea: take the biggest turbo you can find off of the t-series, put it on a generic V8 and have it stick out the hood, because why not
Update 8/1/2022: Added: 6.8 2V SOHC V10 (Still working on getting textures working, but it is physically in and working) 8.0 2V SOHC V12 (Same issue as V10, textures will be fixed) Changes/Plans 454LSX Swap will not be included with the release due to the model being created by a third party. Next on the list will be transmission models Coyote model will be changed to the one from the S550 mod (https://www.beamng.com/threads/ford-mustang-s550-2015-present.54863/) A few more polishing updates to hopefully get a WIP Beta going by the end of this coming week. On a side note, I'm having some issues with the pulley "props" on all the engines except the pushrod motors. I cannot figure out how to change the position of them. If anyone knows how to get these to move, please let me know! I have tried changing translation, which just changes the axis they spin on and screws it up. Thanks!
Update 8/2/2022: Added: Transmission Model 4.6 4V DOHC Cobra Model (Took the old coyote model, which is the bastion engine, and removed the engine cover) Changes/Plans For now, the V12 and V10 are not going to be included in the release. I am currently not able to get the textures working for some reason. It will definitely be fixed in the future, but for now there are bigger things to work on. Coyote model has been changed
Make sure you ask the authors for permission first! Otherwise, this is looking good! Good luck with it!
Appreciate it! I've got a pretty expansive credits section that I keep up with. I've got a couple of mods that I need to get permission to release, the S550 coyote being one of them. I have already implemented it in the car on my own private game, as with a lot of things, but nothing gets released without explicit permission.
Didn’t even think about that. Considering gauges are broken and I have no clue how to even start on that, I will definitely be adding that. Thank you for the kind words! --- Post updated --- Hoping to have a WIP Beta by the end of the week.
So dope seeing someone is continuing this thing, Just want to say thank you, also small suggestion, maybe you can make meo's parts compatible with his permission, would be cool to see a parachute and drag spoiler, and as someone who has owned a SN95 in the past I can give you some suggestions if you want.
Update 8/4/2022 Took some headbanging, but the digital race dash is in and fully functional and customizable. OPEN BETA DETAILS I am now switching my focus from adding cool new sh*t to getting what I have now ready for the public. Currently, almost everything I've done has been inside a separate repo mod. I am now going to start merging these files into the main mod, where updates will continue from there. V6 model will be added. Polishing fixes (slight mesh position adjustments, making the cowl hood bigger, cutting body for turbo parts, etc.) Basically making stuff look pretty. I cannot release the mod with the belts offset like this. If anyone knows how to move engine props, please advise me here. --- Post updated --- Lemme hit up Meo to make sure those models weren't made by a third party, but I'm sure he won't have a problem with it. Thanks for the support, and feel free to help me out however you can. Got any pics of your SN?
I'm very excited about the work you are doing on this mod. I rally race a 95GT and spend a lot of time in beam using the last version goofing around. I've tried pretty hard to repaint the mod to no avail. I'm not a modder so it could be my fault. will your version be able to have custom paint? I would love to replicate my car better in the game.
So, I’m pretty sure this is what @ModerNoob did on his revamp. The material on the old model was absolute ass, but this one has proper paint. I will double check though and do it if not. --- Post updated --- BRO! I know you and your car from the SN95 Facebook group. The paint on the new model is fully customizable and proper, unlike the old one. You should be able to make that livery as well. Also I have been getting DOWN with rallying this mod. Handles excellent
