That is very weird, i havent seen that happen. Do remember that you have to replace the whole map, its more than just a scenario.
Could you send me a video or screenshot if you have replaced the whole map?

That would be really cool, but it would require some jank to make some sections work (flying through the air and stuff). I am working to try and figure out how to do stuff like that though because I love mario kart wii tracks

 

Well, I'd not necessarily say I loved the Rainbow Map, but it'd be cool to drive on it again xD

 

I think it would have to be floating inair obviously, but you would have to have a floating object which is i don't know-possible. this could be saved for last

Mario Kart DS Rainbow Road would be really cool actually, as for the 8 courses it's hard to find ones I can use because of a few reasons. #1 I still have not figured out a reliable way to do the anti gravity portions so that axes a lot of them, and #2 many of the models I can find are missing pieces that are very important to the track, and I don't know how to rip those yet. However there are a few that I have been working on that should hopefully see the light of day at some point.

 

cool, one thing to note on older tracks is they need smoothing bad, i need to use a rally car with a lifted suspension to drive on them properly

 

Yeah they do lol. I'm going to do that as a separate thing later down the line because that requires alot of remodeling. Just use a rally car with race tires for now and think of it as an extra challenge or something

Wish the music slider in settings worked with these maps like in Glow City(light runner map)

 

Didn't know that was a thing, I'll look into it!

 

It's also not affected by pause and slowmo in glow city

 

all I wanted was to rally around dk's jungle parkway but the music was starting to get to me so I dug around in the audio settings. the 'other' slider works for the music on all of these maps that I've tried.

 

I had an idea, for boost pads you can maybe put a wind object that will act like a boost

 

Imagine how sick it'll be when Toad's Turnpike gets added soon
