I'm just hoping we see a K-Series convertible. It would just make sense.

Doesn't need a functional opening & closing roof, just need the option to have it topless.

 

I think it's weird that they teased the covet remaster that early, I thought they were gonna release it with a 0.26.5 or something but I guess they're just throwing it in 0.27 now. It's gonna be a while until that drops I think.

The new map hasn't been teased at all yet (AFAIK), which makes me think that it's still further away than all the K-Series/Covet remaster stuff.

 

will there be a possibility for a sunburst remaster or just a small update to it?

 

I can see them working on a version with a metal folding roof (like on the SL), it would be kinda incomplete without the functional opening/closing

 

TDev clearly said the map still has a fair bit of work on it. Meanwhile it's pretty safe to say both of thise remasters will be out this update.

It's definetly going to get a full remaster quality wise some day. Content is the question; I'm sure there's a lot that Ferretank wants to give it.

 

ETA 3-6 months though so the covet remaster was abit of a too soon tease given it'll be quite sometime when its released imo.

...including Flat engines. After all, Ferretank himself said that he wanted (and, probably, still wants) the Hirochi Sunburst to have Flat engines and that he was beaten to it by the dev team simply because he wasn't a part of it back in ca.2015, when the car got out.

 

When the Sunburst is remastered, maybe they'll rework the "lore" and give it flat engines. Perhaps the traditional current engines will stay but as engine swaps, not being included in any of the official configs.
