Ever since hotfix 0.25.4 yesterday removing trucks and large vehicles to traffic I found police chases to not be as enjoyable for me, having a truck run away while playing as a police car and smashing through other vehicles was so much fun, I also missed seeing buses in traffic around West Coast USA and other maps. Having only cars makes the traffic seem a little more dull with less variety now.

Please make big vehicles a tick box option instead of removing them entirely from traffic!!! That way people who want good traffic flow through tight cornered maps such as Italy can untick the large vehicles option, then those of us who enjoy messing around with trucks and buses in traffic can have the option enabled. I think this is the absolute best solution as we already have many good tick box options for traffic in the Gameplay options menu.

I spent hours trying to troubleshoot why I couldn't see trucks spawning with traffic trying different options until I read the patch notes closely, here is the change:

Other than this I absolutely adore the game and really appreciate the amazing amount of work put into this!

    Many thanks.

Bruh I had constant problems with instability related to trucks and buses in traffic, it crashes into something and the whole game breaks, for me it's good that they got rid of large vehicles, if you want to chase them then spawn them manually

I did not notice this so much, I think having it as a tickbox option so for instance in your case you can have it unticked then for my situations I can have it ticked would be ideal. It can also be unticked by default, if this means more stability for more users, and is an optional opt-in setting. It can also have a small warning (May cause more instability!) pop up, or be in the description.

A better option would be to create your own templates with a list of vehicles that can spawn. This would be very useful, especially when someone is using the pooling option.

That would be great! As well as including any modded vehicles too, or even saved configurations where you've changed the engine, parts, or tuning of a vehicle.

In the map editor, go to windows, and there is an option for spawning certain categories of cars (USA, Europe, Japan, Police, Rural, etc). Latest update it was renamed from “Multi-Vehicle Spawner” tool to “Vehicle Groups Manager". Select the configuration, choose how many you want and press spawn. Then enable traffic from radial menu. You can also make your own custom configurations (Race, Derby, Beaters? just some ideas). Copied from my reddit comment.

Cool ideas though sadly I don't think this method allows large trucks to spawn as traffic after the update

Just make a configuration that includes large vehicles and spawn it? You can add vehicles to any of the configurations, just add the Wentward or T-Series. It isnt part of the radial menu, its seperate and allows for complete customisation.
