    Irl it looks way more transparent than in game, is it PBR? If not then it should be

    The current version is all pre-PBR, but anyway the steering cover uses the standard Roamer glass texture.

    When seen from a short distance, it doesn't look that off as well but I agree it could be a bit more transparent indeed:
