On Hold 1989 Ibishu Kashira (Gen 1) 3.3.2

So glad to see this mod being updated. One small bug I'd like to report on the latest version, the column shifter seems to clip into the dash as it goes up to reverse and park and becomes invisible. Not a huge deal but just thought id point it out. Other than that it seems flawless!

 

It'd be nice if you added power steering option and european licence plates

 

You've updated the ETK S-Series, the ETK-1300, What won't you update?

I also forgot to mention that, in addition to the second generation Kashira, I have also updated the first generation Kashira to PBR materials. Permissions have been obtained for it as well, so please enjoy

 

hey man, i love that you actually updated the Gen 1 too, the Gen 1 is really underrated. But there are a few things that bug me about the car and i thought if you were able to fix these.

1. Weird Trunk model


2. Strange shading on the rear quarter panel.


3. Strange shading and texturing on the front A pillars.


4. When spawning the car in or pressing r to recover the car makes a weird thump sound like something is breaking.
my guess is that its something to do with some jbeam nodes conflicting or something like that

Not tryna put pressure on you but i just wanted to let you know because these do kinda bug me. If these would be fixed i would be pretty happy since i do like the Gen 1

 

It appears the shading issues were the same on the original mod. I guess our expectations for quality have really increased.

 

I am aware of the few issues that the generation 1 Kashira currently has, namely some configurations having missing or wrong set of tires and the weird glass visual bug. The former has been addressed for an upcoming hotfix, and the latter can be fixed by reloading the vehicle with Ctrl + R until the issue is no longer present.

Also, I have not touched the model in any way, shape, or form, so those shading issues were present to begin with. Although I generally don't notice them as much, I could try fixing them if it becomes a major issue. And as for some suspension sounds you may hear upon spawning or reloading, I find it to be less audible for AWD models, but more evident with FWD ones. This is something that I'll have to look further into.

why it says mod is unsupported?

 

For the same reason as the generation 2 Kashira. Please read this post from Car_Killer to get a better understanding why. For those having issues with the game disabling the mod, read the following solution here.

thanks, it's kinda dumb that the tags are managed by the community, there are mods that still work with the unsupported tag like this one, perhaps they'll get that sorted out

 

are you ok if i try make an gen 1.5, i like the minivan body from the second gen but i also like the end 80's design from the gen 1. maybe call it the grand kashira hehe

 

so a fascia swap?
