Grass not rendering (0.25.3)

I have updated the game through all the 0.25 patches to date, and still have this strange issue. Grass is simply not rendering on any map I play on, even though I have grass density maxed out.

 

The support ticket ID is;
133719

 

I don't have any antivirus or similar software on this machine.
I also checked on the support page, and I have none of the listed software running/installed.
The logs may be empty because every time I close the game, it crashes (same goes for the support tool).
I created a new ID, but I suspect it is also empty.

I also tried going through all the standard troubleshooting (clearing cache, verifying game files), as well as reinstalling the game.

I just wanted to update you on the situation.
As 0.27 just came out, I can imagine you're quite busy. The update is excellent by the way!
Anyway, I managed to fix the issue!
Deleting the game completely, reinstalling it (post 0.27 update) and clearing old game version cache did the trick!

It broke again.

 

You're not the only one, ive also been having this issue since 0.25 and nothing has helped.

 

Damn, glad to know that I am not the only one.
I have no idea what could be causing it.
