Welcome to the Civetta Scintilla Prototype Test cars!
In real life, even the most basic of cars have many different design and development phases, including this very step reflected on this mod, the first driveable test cars, made to test every component before it reaches the showrooms.

Included in the mod are 4 stages of the Scintilla development, Nº0, Nº1, Nº2, and Nº3.

Nº0 is a test mule which uses a Bolide body to hide the new drivetrain until the body is further developed, it has been adapted to the Scintilla dimensions by chopping as necessary until it hides as much as possible and the new parts fit. The interior has some Scintilla controls slapped in too, to control some of its functions. The jbeam in this config is a custom hybrid between the Scintilla and the Bolide to ensure the chassis and the body work as best as possible.

Nº1 is intended to reflect an early hand-built chassis and body structure, meant to continuing engine and drivetrain testing, with plenty of access to any needed component but with the final body already on top of it, albeit still lacking a lot of parts.

Nº2 already has most of the final body panels, but the inside is still very unfinished, with bare raw materials, no screens and final seats, and many other details. Of course, all Civetta logos and badging are not present to not let people know about the return of Civetta before it's supposed to, and since the taillights were still not final, provisional units were sourced from the good old Bolide, and since the headlights are mostly covered to hide the shape, supplementary rally lights are in place to allow proper night testing.

Finally, Nº3, the closer to actual production, already has all the final parts, both in and out, but the materials, fit and finish and badging are still in their previous status. But at least some bits of camouflage are now off as well!

It's a test car, camouflaged to prevent spies to reveal how the car looks before it gets revealed

    Spy photos! :)

I've always loved test cars. Funny to see companies like Ferrari run cars that are beat up and thrown together.

This LAF mule was always cool to me. The exposed rivets and rust mesh.
Naturally it doesn't matter what they look like as long as they test the parts they want. Whenever I made automation cars I would make porotypes for fun.
    Well done man. Enjoy this

    Mod updated! :)

First of all, the mod should finally be good for release on repo next week, after fixing issues preventing it. Now, the big news is I was finally able to finish the Nº0, the earliest test car of them all, using a Bolide as a way to disguise the new drivetrain underneath:

Weird, try the new version and if it's still behaving like that, it should be as always either some bad cache files or another mod conflicting, the mod itself is fine.
