How did you discover BeamNG

So how did you discover Beamng Where you told by someone, Did you see a video of it, Did you see it on the RoR forums or Anything
So this is where it all began for me

I saw the early cryengine demos on PCGamer. Didn't realise that it was going to be a full game or anything until that very same video above.

 

Pretty sure there's already a thread for this.

Anyway, I discovered it through RoR back in 2012 and I signed up on the forums awhile later.

 

I saw the first video somewhere and then followed the progress and news until they opened the forums... It's been already 2 years since then, time goes by way too fast.

 

Found rigs of rods 2011/2012, and played it often until early 2013 or so.
Kept wondering where the devs went, so they can finish mp and enable collisions in it.

Suddenly soft body physics in cryengine, by beamng.
Now i'm here, made an account during the release countdown, and bought the game a few days after it ended.

 

I saw the videos back in september of 2012. Brought tears to my eyes. Didn't know there were forums until when I joined.

 

Its awesome to listen how people discovered this Epic game

 

I came from Rigs of Rods.

I saw the first video on the "Popular on YouTube" page back in 2012. Hooked instantly. Lurked on the forums for a few months before creating account in January.

 

I came from RoR.
Then I came for BeamNG.

 

I searched for "soft-body physics" and found BeamNG's first video. I used to like destruction, explosions and fire a lot. And I still do.

 

Was watching a Billstmaxx video he made on it.

 

Followed it from ror.

 

I came from the RoR forums, downloaded the tech demo on Aug. 5th, but didn't buy the full version until Dec. 7th.

 

Same with me i didn't buy it until like dec 20th.

 

I think I heard about it on the RoR forums. Watched the videos, thought it was awesome. Then it sort of went on the back burner and I forgot about it. Sometime after it came out (probably half a month or so) I saw Kurtjmac play it, and decided I needed it.
Off topic fact: I learned about RoR from a RC plane simulator (RealFlight G5).

 

I also discovered Beamng by that nerd cubed video.

 

I found it on the Youtube popular page and wanted it for months, finally got it after a couple weeks of the demo.

 

I heard of it from the ROR forums too.
