just spent 3 hours looking through my internet history trying to find this.

I'm a easter egg hunter you need to have some on this map it'll make it fun *not saying the map is boring i love it* and if you can, where your trails lead add 1-2 houses cause it has a full country look, maybe where the huge rocks are try building a coal mine for looks and a small race track somewhere. {I know this might be a work in progress still} [ but it is 11:47 PM my mind is running wild} I just wanna give the maker some ideas. the map is great but just a little can be made that's all, i now making mods is hard. its %100 but make it %200. Give the map that country look even though its a desert map.

 

I don't know if he's going to work on this anymore, though with that said, I have made Nevada Interstate, I'll be putting out a patch later this week to fix the 2 no-textures in it, but it adds a lot more to this map (it was made off this map, with permission).

 

it doesn´t work at me.. i´ve play it one time.. but then it disappeared..

 

when does the map come out of beta ?

 

after 0.23 update the map was gone. I tried re-downloading it but it doesn't work

 

Just for fun I repacked the map a little to try to figure out some issues for someone in Mod Support. Meshes and road textures are still missing, but otherwise the map works for me.


If I'm bored sometime, I'll try to figure out why those meshes/textures aren't showing up, but no promises.

I DO NOT have the authors' permission to upload this, so if he wants it taken down, I'll take it down. It's just for problem-solving purposes.

 

As said in another thread, I somehow "updated" it, everything works, except for the texture of the floor of a hangar. I'll happily share it if I get @bob.blunderton approval.

 

I took another round with the Black Hills upgrade I started last year. There were problems with road visibility which put the progress on hold, but those were just weird render priority issues after all.

Material format is upgraded to JSON, textures turned to .dds, and the gravel groundmodel is fixed. I added some dirt roads and oil pumpjacks around them. There are two time trials, a reversible highway drive and one through the oil fields.

This version replaces the original, but should not conflict with Nevada Interstate or Las Colinilas de Vapor. Enjoy!
