Speculation: That map is not Utah. It's actually Mars. (that is obviously Mars dust) Evidence supports this, as the game already has a Mars gravity option in the "environment" tab. They will also be adding rockets that you have to build in order to access the new Mars map. I've said Mars a lot in this comment. Mars, Mars, Mars, Mars, Mars, Mars, Mars, Mars, Mars, Mars, Mars, Mars, Mars, Mars, Mars, Mars, Mars, Mars, Mars, Mars
Along with this, BeamNG supports multiple planets' gravity simulated on the same map, which would allow for a full scale recreation of the solar system.
I think it's more or less false advertising, I mean they promoted the game using content that wasn't in the advertised version of the game. I'm no lawyer but I believe false advertising is pretty ok here in Germany anyway (which enables all those great teleshopping channels that massively oversell their shit yay). I'm not saying that the devs of Beam are untrustworthy in any way btw...
If its goin to be/planned to be in the game, its not false advertising, its like when you try and sell event tickets, its planned but it hasn't happened yet. As long as its planned to happen and is not intended to be a scam, its fully legal.
didn't someone find some files eluding to a "utah_offroad_park"? that could make sense as the next map, being a more motorsport-focused addition to main Utah, like Hirochi Raceway is to ECA. Utah, as it happens, is also quite sunny and dry.
In this case, it would equal because there is appearantly no connection between the 2 fuel tanks... you can rupture one and drive happily with the others for hundreds of km still.
Utah Offroad Park is a very old test map that's been referenced in the files for many years. It's not the next map.
