can you also make the doors a bit weaker? they're so strong that when i crash in 80kmh the doors block it from deforming more so only the front of the car crumples. i know the maluch has quite strong doors but this is a bit too unrealistic. that's the only problem i have with this mod, otherwise it's awesome
I don't think they are too strong, they used to be weaker but then they were too weak for lower speed crash test, and to me they even still seem a bit too weak in some crashes. The front is supposed to crumple way more than the passenger area in this car, and irl the doors will easier lock up than deform.
Ok cool, so here is all: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1cU50Ox_kSE52IubXM1BbJH27czT3ZEEp?usp=sharing If you need more photos about something ask me I have big collection of these cars.
Cool, I think we will save these changes for version 2.0 because I see that a lot is modelled wrong at the moment, the whole el body is completely wrong now, I'll just move the mirrors for now, 2.0 will have a complete remodel anyway.
You were right about this one somehow, I saw a replica of this version and it really revs to 6500RPM, thanks I guess. Updated rally version based on a replica (which was built by its original driver), engine peak RPM changed and updated interior and the back.
I know there were 2 factories, and also the fact that the build quality was extremely inconsistent at the beginning, it's not really related to the factories but rather to the standarization, and there were also 2 speedometer formats with different top speed shown, the speedo needle itself could be even inaccurate and that's already a thing in the mod (you can select if it shows accurate or higher speed). Maybe I could add some addon part that randomizes the horsepower a bit (adds or removes up to 7hp from the engine) so it can reach higher or lower speeds, it wouldn't be enabled by default. It would "simulate" the inconsistent build quality. Maybe at the cost of higher power, it could also make the engine less reliable, to simulate bad carburetor tuning. That's a pretty cool idea I think.
do you want to go insane because of how annoying that would be to code lol. cool idea though. i wonder how trash the tolerances would be one one just built since those would somewhat wear and break in over time
It shouldn't be that hard to code, would be like the +5hp sticker but randomized and also affecting the tolerances
Added the code that randomizes the horsepower and tolerance of the engine. I called it the soviet carburetor tuning simulator lol Edit: made tolerance not go up, only down --- Post updated --- I can try but the way it works now will make it really hard to change
Probably will add openable BIS hatch when we add the BIS in version 2.0 For now I added Vivace race interior, kinda tight fit but it all fits somehow lol, second seat would clip with the shifter
Both I think I wanted realistic size relative to the Stig, and seats can't be downscaled since they are common assets, and if I narrowed them then Stig wouldn't fit anyway --- Post updated --- Vivace has more parts
Someone has an email or a contact to the author of these nice Fiat 126p, because I have important matter to him. I tried wrote to him a message here on the site, but my message was considered as spam by the server's system, so I am looking for any possibility of contact.
Pretty sure it was wojak (don't ask me why, he might have edited his comment ?) if that's the case he doesn't seem to be active here anymore
