Despite the fact that the car is an automatic DCT, the throttle pedal is blipped on every downshift, even when you are only pressing the brakes. In this video, I floor it in a straight line until I've gone through a few gears, and then slam on the brakes, and am not touching the gas pedal, yet the pedal itself keeps blipping on every downshift.
Don't know if it's why it happened, but many people, including myself, suggested rotating halogen lightbars, and now we have them, and they look better than I could have ever imagined! Thank you Devs!
Dashboards now look darker and worse-looking. In the Moonhawk I even had trouble seeing the gauges. In the T-series, it's also darker and there are some outlines/artifacts around the steering wheel that I didn't notice before. Lighting quality is set to Ultra like before. It seems to me that ambient occlusion got heavier in this version.
Whoever did the Civetta Scintilla brochure deserves a pay rise! Awesome update with an awesome new car. You keep delivering above and beyond all expectations! More detailed feedback later Which is accurately simulated in the game.... now you try to overheat them which is almost impossible and even then they dont get glazed meaning that once they have cooled down - which on the Scintilla is measured in seconds, they will work just fine again. I think one of the reasons for only the Scintilla having ceramic brakes right now is that - I assume - cooling air is not simulated. Or to be more precise, it seems to be just speed based, meaning that a brake inside a fully enclosed box will cool just as fast as a brake at the end of an air duct. So their extremely fast cool down is just fine on the Scintilla because it has those air ducts that will cool them rapidly. But place the same brakes on a regular car and you would have to greatly reduce cool down capability because most cars dont have air ducts for brake cooling. Works fine for me? Just increase your volume and enter gear D and you will hear a whine that rises with speed and ceases at arround 30 kmh or so.
So now in cockpit view the camera self-centers only when the car is moving, it's ok but I prefer it always self centers even when the car isn't moving, can I change that? --- Post updated --- I also noticed that while driving the hopper, I can only see the interior properly while the sun is shining through the windows.
To all the mods that used that classic default starter motor sound, it appears the sound has been completely removed. Edit: all Automation cars no longer have a starter motor sound. They all used the default one.
Hello. It seems that when I updated the game (the update was forced on me) all of the custom positions for certain items in the default west coast map were reset. I moved the bus stop signs because they were way too close to the edge of the curb, and if you were to pull over perfectly to park the bus in any zone, the sign would hit the mirror, so I used the world editor to move the signs away. In the future, if custom positions for objects could not be reset, that would be nice.
The light flares for the rear window LEDs on the GM with modern light bar appear to placed too far back.
The teleportation feature completely resets my car instead of simply just teleporting it. This happened immediately after .25.
I assume it's because the actuation of the throttle pedal is bound to throttle input, and throttle input has to be given on downshift for the dct to work?
there is a mod which keeps the photo mode setting active when you left, however it seems to have stopped working with this update. here's the link: https://beamng.com/threads/ssao-mod-ssao-changes-in-photo-mode-stays-ingame.84125/ *update* this mod still works https://beamng.com/threads/ssao-mod-ssao-changes-in-photo-mode-stays-ingame.84125/
Oh I know about rev matching, I meant specifically that the throttle pedal itself moves despite me not giving it any inputs directly. The rev-matching is all being done by the car, so having the pedal move when the driver gives no input is strange.
