I have only some For and Againsts of this car:

    For:
    Very aerodynamic and refined aesthetics
    Colours
    Rims
    Doors function

    Againsts:
    Very poor road performance
    Carabinieri's skin absence
Indicator (imo, a modern car should have this indicator) : (like Ford Mondeo or Audi A6 Matrix)

Btw, it's Bellissima! Greetings from Italy!

I noticed that when driving and changing into drift mode the car will throw itself into M1, causing damage.

im sorry but dthe deformation is just not adequate

the front end especially spikes a whole lot as the whole car is incredibly high poly

this level of geometry detail is just not needed and really worsens the games performance and crashes, wich really breaks the immersion

i plead you to reduce the model detail in some areas, this is simply not a fitting model for beamng

That really does not sound like gearbox whine.

    Woah, actually, you're right!

It is in fact gearbox whine, since it's tied to the 7-speed DCT transmission. Odd that the Race transmission, which should have no sound deadening whatsoever in favor of lightness, has no gearbox whine, while the stock trans does.

I still don't think this gearbox whine sounds right at all, it sounds more like a digitized spaceship trying to take off into orbit on an SNES, but at least we know what it is now! :D

Some parts of the sbr4 are triangulated too
I have no idea why but does it harms ?

    yes!
"If you have a square it will only deform in one direction, if you have a triangulated surface, it will fold on itself diagonally instead of front to back like it should"
    -wise romanian

it causes so called spiking, wich is the sharp edges you can see while crashing in this car and many clickbait/meshslap mods

Well... I believe that when you export to .dae, the file format will triangulate the mesh regardless. Also, even though blender displays quads and N-Gons, they are all still triangulated, its just the physical triangles separation isn't shown, but I can assure you that they are very much still there.

Well, right... What I am saying is the engine, when it reads it, it has to convert it to tri's anyways as that is how all the math is carried out in order to render the mesh. Granted I didn't realize you could turn off triangulation for exporting to .dae. If you do that with a mesh with quads and then reimport it, does it stay as quads or does it reimport it as tri's anyways? I genuinely have no idea.

you do genuinely notice the difference so i assume it doesnt convert it automatically

if i export it as quads and then import it again, it stays in quads

Other than the cray amounts of understeer this car has, I have also noticed that the front undertrays are really weakly connected, and on the race config, 1 little trap through a gravel trap removes them like nothing, doesn't even need to be at exorbitant high speeds.

Also, the braking performance is terrbile as of now, tried building a track beast, kinda hillclimb variant (With the Nomi GTRX stuff) but as of now with the stock v10 from the Race Config, and after adjusting the ride height so the splitter doesn't rub on the asphalt under braking, the car still suffers from bad braking performance, I have to brake 100 meter earlier on corners that the SBR brakes at 150m (Around the same speed until pressing the brakes), some higher speeds brake zones are even worse (At the straight in Imola with the SBR I manage to brake at 200m and still make the corner safely, with the Scintilla I have to brake before the little left turn before the chickane (Tried even changing brake balace more to the front to see if it would solve the issue, but doesn't change much on the poor performance

Love this thing, it really is a car Beamng didn’t have in its arsenal yet that makes a valuable addition.

    couple things tho:

-manual should at least be an option on the engine swaps as I find the electronics and automatics interfere/ don’t work with my driving style (especially off-road)

-model should be in quads to reduce spiking and more crumple zones as I find it way sturdy for a 2020 super car

looks and drives great when it’s not arguing with me tho, great job devs!!

I personally think that the deformation is, while being a little worse than other vehicles by the dev team, is still perfectly adequate.

The crumple zone I believe is realistic, as most crash tests of expensive super cars end up not crumbling too much and look similar to the Scintilla.

    That's my final statement.

(Please don't take this as an argument.) :)

Yeah, it's not perfect but it's good enough, it doesn't make it that much worse, it's not even that noticable.
