So about the mod being leaked, it was a matter of time, almost every mod ends up the same way, and I would say 100% of free mods are guaranteed to have the same fate, but just like with the Defender, those who use those webs have the same issue, they will never have the latest version with all the current improvements. Thank you, I couldn't find the latest proper version. So a new hotfix is in! Front differentials updated to latest working version (thanks to @default0.0player ) Added 2014 Config with no tailgate TRD badging, no roof rack just roof rails, and some other bits (thanks to CarTMatt @Discord ) Reworked newer MY config (thanks to CarTMatt @Discord ) new engine sound for the 4.0 V6 (thanks to CarTMatt @Discord )
Two minor problems: TRD pro and TRD pro 2014MY has 10psi tire pressure. TRD Pro Sport has Race Electronics removed, which causes the eDiff not work.
And today's hotfix is here! Added standard SR5 tire to the spare options (and now standard on its config as well) (thanks to @STEVIE_G4M1NG_YT ) Adjusted tires, wheels and hubs positioning and offsets (thanks to @Braskus ) Fixed tire pressure and electronics not present in some configs (thanks to @default0.0player and @Braskus for implementing fixes) Fixed exhaust problems yet again (caused by an undetected file rollback)
The tires and wheels have now been moved into the base games collection. There is also a resized copy of the TRD Pro wheel that is 17x9 to fit basegame offroad tires.
I suddenly thought... why not make a rally version of this 4Runner? So, I tried to make one... and not all parts that I need are present in the mod such as: Rally Coilovers & Sway Bar Manual Transmission Rally Lights and most important of all, a rally livery The config I made comes as a .pc file which I compressed to a .zip file; here's how to import it to your game: Extract all contents of the .zip file Go to the extracted file, then click & drag on top of them. Right-click & select Copy Go to vehicles folder in the game version folder, then select the "t4runnr" folder Paste the contents of the extracted .zip folder, last thing to do is test it out. Anyway, since I tried, here is the result:
If you rev the truck while it's not rolling and the tires don't make noise it still sounds a bit quiet, could be my game but I don't know.
