0.25 update is inbound likely within the week (good odds on today, but who knows) - and it will include a remastered Ibishu Covet, including mid-engined configurations (Mr. Turbo), as well as the upcoming Civetta Scinsilla - a mid 2010s-2020s supercar, which will include active aero, and openable doors from the game. Additionally, some graphic improvements are speculated on, and a QnA reveals big things coming in 0.26 - including renewed focus on career mode and tires, as well as paint scratches.
So nothing much happened in past 6 months, only thing important that u may be interested is tdev Q&A from 2 weeks ago. A lot of new stuff about game and future we learned from that Q&A. Also stalking tdevs profile on linkedin by some user was not noice but for me was funny as whole community started to bullying that user XD Rest of thread is business as usual.
At this point, I'm not really sure if there's even a full covet remaster in this update lol. stop asking
Honestly i don't think that the covet will be in this update, might be like the bastion but then again i honestly don't know what happens since the Q&A by Tdev, one teaser and another the same 2 days after the first, creator program, really no clue as of when the update is near, it feels near but i'm pretty sure it's not
I don't see any reason to doubt a Covet remaster in 0.25. Updates generally include a remaster; the Covet and Scintilla are the only two bits of vehicle content teased; and Mr Turbo seems finished (there's no way that would come before the remaster and the proportions were different in the overhead hood teaser)
It seems unlikely that the update will arrive before next week. It is Friday afternoon after all in Germany. I really hope for an V12..... one of the few modern car archetypes where one would make sense from a technical standpoint.
I believe very early on they were against Friday updates. Also, it's 5pm Germany time. Never say never but, I doubt we see a release today. Edit- Called it
