People also fail to realise manufacturers wouldn't want to license their cars to a game where they can be heavily distorted (This is partially why in games such as Forza cars can only be dented and have things like mirrors and wings fall off). While it would make some of the playerbase happy to see officially licensed IRL cars, manufacturers wouldn't be willing to take the risk.
Bad recreation of Scintilla back, from the first concept art probably very inaccurate. Because i only had 1 image to go off i took the general shape of R8 back, in the concept image it looks much flatter
It looks like a 2015-24 era car - so I would assume a mix, as in most supercars from the era. But we'll have to find out I suppose; perhaps today? Only one mod was approved, and that was a standalone vehicle - I can't remember the last time that's happened in recent times, and it was just a quick, really simple hotfix.
the only thing the clutch stuff is missing is different torque rated clutches that may even act a bit different, so a stock clutch would not take 2000nm of torque without problems.
I really hope it comes out today but to be fair and honest we all know it’s next week --- Post updated --- Imo I think that this doesn’t match with the scintilla front at all, and it would make a really ugly car never the less. Not to be picky, but if it’s one of those super cars that looks good when seen at from the front, and hideous from the back it really defeats the whole point of the civetta legacy seeing how they did the bolide so well with a combination of bulky and curvy
We specifically do not do that even though it's perfectly supported as is right now because we feel it would be too confusing for the users. However, such gameplay influenced decisions can be revisited at a later date if we feel that things have changed or so.
6th then. How much does it cost for you eat 3 or 4 at McDonald's or something. Probably close to that money. Anyways, looks like we're not gonna convince eachother.
Personally I think that folks don't give the devs enough credit for how well-designed the cars in beam are. Sure they take some inspiration from IRL cars but for the most part they're original. For example I know a lot of people went on about how the Bastion looked too much like a Charger, but if you look at GTA online's equivalent to a Charger it looks straight-up ripped off.
That would be nice to see together with eventual transmission damage (since transmissions are also indestructible, apart from grinding the gears)
If it goes for full digital, it’d maybe be similar to the Lamborghini Aventador. If full analogue, I believe the Pagani Huayra also has analogue gauges. and if its a mix, then something like a Ferrari 458 I guess iirc. the non-performance model gauges are basically copies of FCA (Stellantis)’s Chrysler 300 gauges.
Pretty much, yeah. The general shape remains the same - but there's only so many ways to make a gauge cluster. Even the digital temp and gas gauge match. And IIRC some of the performance ones copy Dodge Charger themes - but again, only so many ways to make them.
Also check out the cars they added with the Tuner DLC (Mustang SVT Cobra R, Silvia S13, Porsche Cayman, etc.), they're basically straight copies
I also see some Ferrari 488 GTB in the design of the side air vents and some Ford GT90 in the overall shape of the rear end from this face-and-three-quarters angle.
