I cant update my BeamNG

When I try to update my BeamNG, this is what it says:
BeamNG.update requires a connection to the internet, and my internet connection is just fine. Please ensure that you can access the internet and that no firewall or Anti-Virus blocks this application.
I turned off my windows firewall then tried it, didn't work.
I went to task manager and disabled superantivirus , still didn't work.
I also tried disabling "real-time Protection" from microsoft security essentials, that didn't work either.
I also tried running it as administrator and that did not work either.
If anyone could help that would be awesome. I love this game, making time out of your daily lives to create a game that is cool has to be hard work, and I a greatly appreciate that. So no rush lol.

 

I assume you are trying to use the updater to do this?

I don't think the updater works anymore. You have to update it through steam if I am right and the updater doesn't work.

 

Thanks. I had sort of the same problem, it couldn't update. But hopefully it will now, am downloading it off of steam.
