I have a first gen Tundra with the 2UZ, if you need any sound profiles I can provide! I do have an exhaust on it though, so I'm sure it would mostly just be diesel like sound of the engines given they have complicated valvetrains, not just the sound of the exhaust.
Had a little bit of fun tuning Currently, there is a bunch of intake options and performance parts to really enhance the ride.
i think there will be a fortuner mod in Modland, and i also think the dev will just make 4Runner with its trims
Hi there! This looks amazing! I have one suggestion, It would be cool to see some crawler and baja parts, such as a big fender cut body for crawling and wide front fenders for baja racing and offroad racing parts such as a trunk mount spare tire, fuel cell, roll cage, offroad race suspension and crawler suspension, jacks, bumper mount spares, roof mount tents, roof racks, light bars, ect. It would probably attract more offroaders such as me to this mod even more that people already are, but just a suggestion. Thanks for reading this anyway!
Since there are heavy-duty suspension parts in this mod, I'm wondering if a tow hitch will be added? I could imagine this bad boy towing big loads with those stiff suspensions and big hp from the turbos. --- Post updated --- That is a cool idea, but judging by the amounts of scratch-made components needed I think it will be challenging for JorgePinto to accomplish, but I'm not doubtful.
completely up to you but if you want i can test it before it gets released to find any bugs that may occur
Am super excited for this i have been looking for a 4runner for so long but here it goes hope you make more mods in the future I support and like it so much its free!
I'm loving the gauges --- Post updated --- So here's an off-roading video that I took some time ago, and it's long, boring, and has no sounds! But it gives a picture of the mod's abilities and limits. Enjoy if you can.
RELEASE VERSION IS HERE! (Also, in the main post of course) Yet again, please remember this is the very first public release and the first weeks will be all about fixing and polishing things, new content will start planning now, and again too, don't expect an avalanche of parts, I know how popular mods are for the real car, but the workload is way too much for the rate people expect content. Also, thanks to some optimization in the textures, the mod is 'only' 109 mb zipped, about 60 mb less than the Defender. Anyway, I listed a few known bugs in the main post, but just to make sure people know what to expect, I'm listing here too (Help is very welcomed with these ): Even though the frame and the body can be physically detached from each other, like any other body-on-frame car, some broken nodes remain attached and if pulled, one bit of the car will drag the other. The roof rack is ready for the game loads (fridge, pallet, couch...) but after loading, the load mesh looks like it's doubled and depending on the load, just breaks or destroys the whole car, so no loads are available for the time being until it's fixed. The rear axle can explode under certain hard impacts.
Amazing mod. Fantastic job, one little suggestion, you should implement the "Updated Shiftlogic Mod" into this. it really changes the driving experience
