Hiya everyone, this is prolly not anything new, but my goal is to make beamng as physically realistic as possible when it comes to Reflections, Particles, and Graphics, Maps will also be changed to fit lighting proportions this was supposed to be Released on 5/20/22 but due to me breaking code and other things it was not stable to be released in the time frame, (please note that this is my first post to the Beam forums, and another thing to add that i am using a heavily modified version that i built of marty mcfly's shaders) anyway here are some pictures of previous progress. what the Global Illumination looks like in GI Preview Final Result (outdated photo but reference) PARTICLE FIXES! after some time digging through the in game code i have finally made some realistic smoke, dust clouds etc, some tire/tyre smoke! standstill burnout Sand! gravel dirt/grass (chunks of dirt and grass are multiplied just not shown well when trying to do photos0 Mud! SPARK PARTICLE (most well done in my opinion GI also makes it glow ) COSMIC V3 DOWNLOAD (forums wouldn't allow me to post raw .zip file) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ad1_ZMFQtWg3MDKxso2lnyYFzmf7OhuB/view?usp=sharing
like i said due to me breaking code i will need to redo most of the stuff i had done, but the particle systems are almost ready to be able to download. --- Post updated --- the particles are ready, however the shaders themselves will be some time before being able to be downloaded for some reason i cannot make any changes to my forum post
After some time i finally have my shaders done, i will eventually make changes to the skybox and more to fit the SSGI, have fun and let me know what you think.
yes i am bumping again, bite me, finally got the maps fitted to go with my shaders, particles have been reworked again more sparks should now appear more efficiently
Heya! no not as of yet, this kinda fell off since i started working on ragdoll mods for rockstar game's games. but however i do know that my particle stuffs do still work.
well yeah it's a graphics mod, it mostly depends on your hardware -_- --- Post updated --- after installing reshade, go to shaders folder within the root folder of beam and drag and drop the main shaders files and replace them.
what hardware are you doing this on, what fps u getting aswell so I can get some sort of idea of how well my pc may be able to handle it lol, cus I really like the look of this, and ik gi is usually very hard to run
is it more gpu intensive or cpu intensive, thing is i have a decent ish gpu but my proccessor isnt ery good
-_- dude if you have never installed a graphical mod before its simply both, anything under a ryzen 3 1200, and a GTX 1060, will not run.
