That is not a bug, it was done intentionally. Same thing on the BeamNG cars, nobody would realistically look under the seats like that

Just came back to this thread and I can't believe people are STILL discussing whether or not this mod should be paid. Point is, it is paid. Nothing about that has changed. Now please, drop it.

diesel don't pop or bang like that, not like a petrol engine at least, so is a bug.
if you don't have any knowledge whatsoever about this, please keep your opinions for yourself

On the gasoline modified version the pops and bangs should not be the same with te diesel modified version
if Lucas wants bangs on the diesel tuned verssion it's his choice but he should add the smoke too.
I wasn't criticizing Lucas, i really respect his work and he is a verry talented individual, however i do want to help the cherrier picnic to be as realistic as it can get.

furthermore, if you are still not convinced you can watch this youtube video:
you can clearly see pops and bangs from this diesel car, but is not like the gasoline ones, the flames come from ignition of the unburned fuel combined with the high tempreture of the exhaust, all that white (sometimes black) smoke is unburned fuel that failed to ignite (all of this is possible by post injecting fuel late in the combustion stroke)
