Well for the first gen I will only include diesel versions. the gas versions and new models will be on the next update.

Just saying but starting all out on a full car ain't a good idea I recommend making a part mod for a vanilla car not trying to make you lose motivation.

No you start by making the model THEN you do the jbeam. But starting with the outline of the headlights and grille is not the way to go, start with the roof instead. The vertices should be placed as gridlike as possible, and make sure to not make n-gons. You must also make the frame, the interior and the backside of all parts. You must also texture everything. Then, you must either find an existing jbeam and displace nodes to fit the shape, and change values to fit the weight and stiffness of the desired car. Or, you could make one from scratch, which needs a lot of knowledge on jbeam, physics and car mechanics. What modernoob suggests (and i do too) is to make something like a bumper for a vanilla car to start with. You'd only have to model one part, and you could reuse the existing bumper jbeam but adapt it, which shouldn't need much more than moving the nodes.
