Needing help with a few things

Hi everyone,

I am just trying to "create" my own first ever map if you can call it that, I am basically just editing one of the base maps and adding a bunch of stuff...

A couple things I am having issues with though are;

I am unable to figure out how to add snow, snowy roads, etc.

I am also unable to figure out how to add portals like in the Utah Extra map I believe it is that has them

If anyone could help that'd be awesome!

I've managed to figure out how to get the ice texture but cannot get snow.

 

As far as I know, snow is just mud with a changed texture
