Some news. Roamer steering is removed and similar to real car steering added. It has some issues, but work more better what I expect. Openable doors delayed on unknown time because I dont have any answers from original Openable Mod author. Next in todo: Finish steering JBEAM. Fix body mounts + body and frame collision triangles. And release it all in 1.0.5. After this I think I can focus on VG30E, tuning parts, LHD version and more OEM parts. Stay tuned!
Wouldn't you just need to use hydraulic beams, like the D series and H series use for their tailgates?
so, I've used this mod and im impressed, this is the most detailed and irl accurate car mod i think i have ever seen, Truley a really fun car to drive, i hope this goes far in the future.
I think the more realistic answer is they're either A: 5 years old, or B: not a native English speaker
understandable as it is still wip i guess, but it's very poor performance wise. with vanilla vehicles i can achieve about 35-40 fps on small island usa with terrano it drops down to 13-20 fps
Okay, 1.0.5 is mostly ready for release. And I think before adding more parts (new engines and etc.) I need to solve the question with RHD and LHD versions (In 1.0.6 maybe?). There are two options - make LHD and RHD versions how separately cars like IRL (Pathfinder and Terrano). Or combine them together, but this may cause some illogicalities in case of changing the interior from RHD to LHD version via Ctrl + W and not changing other parts to LHD versions (MBC, power steering pipes, location of the steering gear and etc.). In theory, this can all be solved with Lua, but this may affect performance. Who has any thoughts on this?
One problem I keep having is that the radiator gets damaged far too easily. The slightest touch to the front-end when off-road, as in the type of contact that results in either no visible damage or a slightly dented bumper, is enough to break it.
