This could also apply for other infractions. if you're going 10 mph above the speed limit, the AI car going 20 mph would be chased. to make it so that there aren't issues, your infractions will be ignored(crashing into police cars excluded) until the suspect gets caught. if the AI suspect gets caught. they simply drive away(if ticketed) or turn on hazard blinkers and stop (if busted). In order to keep the chase ongoing, the fleeing AI keeps getting chased by nearby police after respawning in traffic. Extra: If police crashes into you at a higher speed than you, they turn on hazard blinkers and you get the notification: "The officer apologized and exchanged insurance info"
