Thats how they look like, now lemme tell how they are like: They smoke 10 cigarettes a day, overdose on alcohol, they live in a small 1 room house, they play too much fortnight
The game itself is a one time payment of 24.99 so how to justifyi paid mods of 3.80 and even worsr 8.75 for ripped 3d meshlaps or even worse a monthly 30 for ripped 3d meshlaps. I say still.... donations is the best way to keep the peace. If donations arent bringing in money to the modder then that is the obvious message to the modder.
No one is saying you should justify overpriced mesh slaps. But if someone wants to try to sell them, it's as simple as to not buy them. For a reasonably priced quality mod though, the justification is that you compensate the mod creator for their time and effort. And saying that donations are better just makes it painfully obvious that you yourself were never planning on donating to anyone. In that case you would just buy the 3.8 euro mod and that would be the end of it.
Looks like there's already someone asking for Assetto Corsa kinds of money for their mods. I looked a bit further into the account of this guy and wtf is this shit
Why does it matter how much the base game costs? That's up to the devs and/or publishers. It's completely irrelevant. Only because they're free. I can confidently say that most players wouldn't have as many mods as they do, if they had to pay for all of them. --- Post updated --- I don't know how many more times you're going to have to say this before people actually start to understand it. 100% this. Work cannot be fun, only stressful. That's the only way you can justify compensation.
I have no idea what currency that is but the fact that those are big numbers and they’re per month just sounds insanely sketchy
I just looked at the picture again and it says that the one converts to $29 US a month and the other one is $41 Us a month. That is truly thievery
Get these crappy mashslaps leaked. The meshslapper can't sue the leaker. If they attempt to sue the leaker, they'll get themselves sued first since they use stolen models in their meshslaps in the first place
But he got his response, and it's better to flood this thread instead of others. I guess a new thread could be made though.
The proliferation of paid mods. Now [PAID] is a new trend. --- Post updated --- There are certain people who encourage encryption on vehicle mods(even the official vehicles can be opened freely), pushing "free mods is a privilege" agenda(even the majority of BeamNG mods are free, paid mods is a privilege). These people also create even more drama, they desperately want to ruin the modding community by forcing a new normal.
