so, anyway I get this error when I search up certain websites, does anybody know what this is? (sometimes it says 503 error before it goes to this.)

Dude, the error is quite self explanatory, been bought up on the minecraft forum page for optifine (which if memory recalls has mirrored links available) and been explained by davidbc. The site is down. It isnt an error on your end. optifine.net is literally broken.

oh, (you don't have to continue with this discussion) I just used optifine as an example because it has happened to LEGO.com/shop and some other websites, AND I DONT USE YAHOO OR AOL.
this is a family PC for my house.

No doubt his choices of software and search engine are terrible but he did not ask about that. He asked for help with accessing a site. Give the man relevant help. If he wants a better surfing experience then he will ask for it.

Second, I want to encourage the OP to read error messages or at least google them. Plenty of information that allows you to figure out very quickly what the problem is. 404 is an error code that corresponds with an overwhelmingly common issue, that the site is down. Google it and learn. However, "service temporarily unavailable" is also pretty descriptive.

Are you using WiFi for accessing the internets? If yes that might be your problem when accessing the other sites.
