how to fix error code 0x3000001

    I had a flash stick running ready boost now I have lost the flash stick. I have reinstalling the game I have moved the game to a diffrent drive I have tried valdating the files but non of that has worked

    Hi,

    Please follow these steps:

    1. Press Win + R and type regedit
    2. In the window that will open navigate to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\BeamNG\BeamNG.drive
    3. Right click on userpath_override and select Delete
    4. Restart your PC
    5. Launch Steam → Library → Right click on BeamNG.drive → Properties
    6. Make sure that Launch Options field in the General section is empty
    7. Launch the game

    hello i have found the flash stick but i am geting the same error code . and i tryed your fix but could the thing for step 3 was not there

    Please try choosing a different location for your Userfolder.

    To do so, use the Launcher > Manage Userfolder > Change Location, and then selecting a different folder that does not require special permissions (for example C:\BeamNG.drive)

    If this doesn't work, please try these steps:

    - Create a folder somewhere
    - Open your game folder (Steam -> Library -> Right click on BeamNG.drive -> Manage -> Browse local files
    - Find startup.ini
    - Find and edit:

    ; This determines where the User path is.
    ; This is by default or when empty below "My Documents\BeamNG.drive"
    UserPath = here your path to the new folder

    Please try to launch the game with administrator rights.

    To do so, navigate to Steam -> Library -> Right click on BeamNG.drive -> Manage -> Browse Local files

    Then right click on BeamNG.drive.exe -> Run as administrator

    Tell me your system specs and if your using readyboost that means you use a HDD which are sh*tty by today's standards. If you got some extra money buy an SSD and some more RAM and that should work.

    I'm getting an error code, the code is 0x3000001. I have tried multiple troubleshooting options, but none have worked. It said to contact support, so I did.

    hello

    I've already uninstall / reinstall the game, from steam, twice.
    No solution work for me (regedit etc)
    Thank for any help

    Edit : I've selected the beta participation in steam and it solves the problem.. weird!!

    Could you please provide us more information about your steps?
    What's your current version of the game?
    What beta did you try to opt in?
    Did you do reinstall after turning off beta?

    We are investigating the problem and this information will help us to find a solution :oops:

    I am having the same problem after formatting my HDD with BeamNG on it,
    After i formatted everything still getting the same error message's

    Same problem here, I tried to fix through regedit and couldn't find beamng there.
