Hello! I have recently been trying to install mods off of beamng's mods page, but I've been having some trouble. I have been specifically trying to download this mod: https://www.beamng.com/threads/bmw-e36-revamp.84153/ , however, I have been having trouble getting the mods to show up. I have watch countless videos and tutorials, most of which saying to put the mod under a "mods" folder under beamng, and I have been, but it is still not working. Please help me.

Ignore what he says, because you probably don't understand anyway, because it's in Polish. Just watch what he does

    DO NOT DO THAT
    The correct way:
    Open beamng,
In the menu, go to repository,
on the top left, go to "MODS MANAGER"
    Then, once in "MODS MANAGER",
    Go to "Open Mod folder"
and then drop the zip folder you downloaded into that folder that opens

This tutorial is more like how to break your game and install a virus... The comments are even obviously botted

    1) Open up a file manager of choice
    2) Go to the path "%LOCALAPPDATA%\BeamNG.drive"
    3) Go to the folder representing the newest version you're using

There you'll find your mods folder.

You'll get to the same folder by going in-game, opening up Mod Repository, Mod Manager tab and clicking "Open Mod Folder". Didn't knew that it was in the game until I read what @RobloxFan2 said above me, I always do things through Total Commander. :p

You don't need to use modland, it works with beamng forum

Its not just modland, you should not be installing mods in the game files...
