No it's a common problem with getting too far away from x=0, y=0 and the game needing to round mesh/node/whatever positions.
I really hope a USDM Version of the Covet MR Turbo comes since the Renault R5 Turbo and R5 Turbo 2 Were actually sold In the US and had side markers
Well, whatever it was, I presume that that is going to be the thing that keeps it out of the main game. When I used to cruise on the map with lots of traffic, that was my huge complaint with it. I'd assume that unless this was fixed, it'll stay out of the game as per BeamNG dev quality assurance. That said, no reason it won't be an easily accessible mod
Then the update might be moving to a larger floating point number for player position so the bouncing doesn't happen till a lot farther away from the center of the map
This isn't so much update speculation as mod speculation, but I speculate that someone will cram a Soliad V8 into the Covet
The Soliad 4.4 is great by any means but why not put the Gavril 6.9? It would make one hell of a Drag project, especially if the engine is mounted at the back! The Soliad 4.4 would make a great street-tuning project though!
personally i'm hoping we can get an awd version of the mr turbo so there could maybe be a metro 6r4-esque thing
Yep, that's exactly what I'm hoping for because we already have a 2WD Rally Car from that era (and it's the Bolide Group 4).
The 4.4 is smaller and lighter though, it's barely bigger than the 2.0 from the Covet GTz. The Covet would be too light to put the 6.9's power into the ground anyway - said NA 2.0 is already pushing it without wider tires Oh, you meant a drag project. That makes more sense, nvm. I was definitely thinking more along the lines of street and track performance I do hope we get a V6 and optional full-time 4WD though, called something like M4.6, and diesel engines for the Euro-spec FWD Covet
Not him, but the author of the Custom Shaders Patch fixed it, the original author of SRP has moved on to doing other things.
I just thought of something else that makes the Soliad 4.4 a better choice for a Covet swap: it's transversely mounted in the Wendover, so it can fit more easily in the back of the Covet. Plus, it's smaller and lighter than the Gavril 6.9 and, being an OHC unit, it can make equally giant amounts of power and torque to the Gavril 6.9 when given the right parts. So yes, your choice of engine makes more sense for street and track performance. Yep, drag use makes more sense with the Gavril 6.9! Hehe! Also, yeah, I hope for a V6 AWD powertrain too because there's the niche of the Mid-Engined AWD Group B car needed to be filled! Also, a small Diesel engine makes great sense for a Supemini - passenger Diesels started being popular in the early 80s, so the production years of the Covet are right on. Plus, the niche of the old passenger Diesel has a lot of unexplored territory in the game (ETK, Ibishu, Bruckell and even Autobello - provided it gets a car made in the 80s or newer - can have many of these, with Bruckell starting from the late 70s)!
