Released Cherrier Picnic ('92 - '03) [PAID] 1.4

I paid the $4 because while I personally disagree with most paid mods (and yes, Lucas could have better communicated that that's what this was going to be), a) this one immediately gained a reputation for dev-tier quality and b) the community's reaction to the one-time, $4 price tag has been frankly disgusting, especially knowing how many people happily pay five times that for mesh slaps. I hope he still even wants to make mods after the diarrhea tornado this one caused

 

Modders need to get paid, especially beam modders. I imagine making a beam mod is as hard if not harder as an AC mod, and there paid mods are normal practice. You and other modders should get paid, thats just natural. Stop complaining ppl

 

Fantastic mod, keep up the great work. I have two questions @LucasBE
- 1 would you mind me adding the CH Dummy 2.0 to your mod (I would make a copy of the Car Body jbeam, Front Seat right & Left Jbeam, and the dashdoard Jbeam and renaming them so not to mess up anything in the mod)
- 2 There seems to be something strange happening with the front corners of the hood after some medium hits to the front bumper or radsupport. the corners bends upwards but nothing else is damaged near that area (Lights, front fenders) is this ment to be like that?

Did you use some support beams on the corners of the hood maybe? or is the beams stiffening the hood at an bad angle that makes the corners invert/flip upwards?

Finally tried the mod out, it's higher quality than half the official vehicles at the moment

 

You really don't need to, and shouldn't beat yourself over the way this community reacted. The car, although I haven't downloaded it, looks amazing, and you should be proud of your work! The people giving you threats and bullying you likely have no idea how much work and passion was put into this one car. Lucas, good job. Ignore the hate, take a break if you need to. Mental health is far more important than the opinions of some whingy players. Stay safe, and please take care of yourself.

 

I was wondering, for the base Young config, would it be possible to have steel body colored trim on the top of the doors in the interior? Maybe also a clock delete in the instrument cluster for the Young config too for added cheapness :>

 

i also found a bug. when sports brake callipers are installed and you press the brake, the front suspension compresses slightly and the front rims start wobbling.

 

I 100% agree, I understand that these mods have hours and hours in them but charging to get access to them just doesn’t seem right to me

 

I have opened up to the idea of paid mods in the past few days. Just the one thing that I did not like is that on the same post with the link to pay for the mod, there is also a link asking for donations at the bottom of it. Again tho I respect the hustle a bit more

The entitled fools trying to dis this passionate creator by using death threats should be fined and spend some time making something with passion only to be burnt for asking little bit of money for return. for this unwarranted reaction over him trying to make some profit so he can continue the hobby of creating greatness and so for your realization that creating mods for this game takes more work than working in an average minwage job while earning less, so at least be grateful that this person took the time to create this and put it public for a few dollars

Why do people keep asking this? If Lucas released it for free then all the people who’d paid for it would be scammed
