Glad to see some paid mods finally getting around the forums. This should tighten the gap between dev and player mod quality.

 

I don't think it's very appropriate to reveal the existence of an underage to this forum.

As long as he have no intention to reupload to questionable third-party websites.

If people are worried about paying for this, they should really avoid the flight sim community. Folks might have a heart attack haha.

 

Imagine spending $139.95 to get a malware. In terms of flight sim, It's actually better to download these shitty overpriced mods from third-party websites rather than paying more than the base game itself. That's NOT the case in the Cherrier Picnic, this mod deserves to be paid.

in assetto corsa paid mods work because the community is used to it and in beam it doesnt work

 

The community just needs to, as you said get used to it.

 

It is what it is. You need to understand that there are other alternatives to this, yes? There's the Charmand mod, an AW Astro, Ibishu Chisai, The Maluch, FPS Trapez, Autron Petitron, Fait One, and the the Bitron B2 on the repository.

Assetto Corsa is a pretty bad example, this guy from another thread summarizes pretty well some good examples of paid mods not working:

Flight sim is the same, most if not all of the big paid mods are found for free online
Paid mods don't work because even if they have some sort of distribution protection, alot of the time they dont get taken down simply due to individual creators or websites not being strong enough to influence people or governments a world away, and even if the site is taken down, anyone can use the wayback machine online and just find it if it was archived, which it usually is.

Thanks for letting me know what a Maluch really is. I loved that fastback alot because of how interesting its design looked hehe- Anyways, I'm looking forward on that big update you're working on

 

Charmand needs fixes - fix the lack of 1.1 engine sound and move engine sound source under the hood (by now it comes from passenger seat). Bitron B2 is outdated, last time I tried this mod, it had no textures, if it worked at all. FPS Trapez is a quality mod, but it's a mid-sized liftback. The rest is right, i agree.

upd: I was wrong about Bitron, it works fine.
