The miramar can handle well the amount of power the stock engine produces, and with the bored blocks mod I think makes it as perfect as it gets, doesn't get too much power that makes it uncontrolable, but the lack of customization from the rear suspension is it's weak spot, that's why it can't handle too much power.
I think I'll redo miramar after doin last config for 200BX and offroad bolide. It'll include custom suspension (not 100% sure)
Offroad Bolide suspension (only model) Left side - modified, right - stock --- Post updated --- I have ideas for miramar. Make custom independent suspension (take from old pessima) Hood exit turbo/na exhaust I5 petrol engine I3 diesel engine AWD 5-lug hubs Wheelie bar Rally lights Configs: Track Devil - 400-550hp turbo I5 with AWD and aero Trackday beater - 205hp turbo diesel RWD Rally - 300hp na I5 AWD Drag - 800+ hp monster RWD wheelie bar Drift - 250 hp na I5
About the Miramar, if you are going to make good suspensions for it, i'd use as base a car that, first of all, was just remastered (so the work won't go to trash after a year), and is a blast to drive. My suggestion would be the Bolide, simply because it would be the best suspension someone could get to build its supercar performance Miramar. For the hubs, making them swappable between 4, 5 and center lugs sounds more fun lol. If it gets a LHD interior, it would be, for me, a car to spend days testing.
I think that bolide suspension wont suite miramar, cos of size and different bodies (if I'll do custom body, it will be different car from miramar) Sunburst and Pessima are timeless classic. Also pessima and miramar suspensious are similar size, so I wont redo all car from crap Pessima has the closest wheelbase (from modern cars) to miramar's and pessima is funny to drive, so pessima will be my choise --- Post updated --- Center lug? ahaah, why not. LHD is also a good idea
Well, you're the one making. The wheelbase is not really a issue, maybe the track width would be. The only real issue with the Pessima's suspension is both the fact it is McPherson struts in front (really hard to implement on a car that uses double wishbone by standard), and the fact that it is kind of old in game, so a remaster could be on the way, which could render your work "useless". Probably the front suspension from the Bluebuck would be good enough (I have played a lot with a AWD Bluebuck and had no geometry issues in front) to solve the front suspension problem. Anyway, I'm a chicken in this game. My power limit is around 400 hp. The only exception is the Bastion, since it is incredibly heavy, 500 hp is about the right amount of power to it. If your 550 hp track Miramar drive better than/as good as a 400 hp Bolide or SBR4, I don't care about what suspension you are going to use on it. I believe in you
Maybe an year ago I was making track configs for all cars, dat was funny. Every car has it own limit on track after which car will be uncontrolable. Sunburst - 640hp, Miramar 320, Bolide - 760(with AWD - unlim). Pessima's limit is nearly 600hp with GTRX aero, but without only 460 So I think that pessima will be good choise (redo model for remaster will not take much time (I hope)) --- Post updated --- Progress: remade tierodF, swaybarF, diffR and hubs with brakes to suit miramar body
Some pics of suspension (rear is 35% done, front is 100%) --- Post updated --- For rear suspension I need custom body. Ok, it will help me to do the wheelbase as pessima has, so hadling will be cool (but miramar dont have space for front diff( ) --- Post updated --- Progress custom body (increased wheelbase) --- Post updated --- Rear suspension done, body updated for fitting new coilovers --- Post updated --- Make custom independent suspension (take from old pessima) - done --- Post updated --- Now is time to do engines and exhausts but I'll do it tommorow)
I5 engine done, here is a pic --- Post updated --- I3 engine done, here is a pic --- Post updated --- Hood exit exhaust will be only for I5 engine And I have bad news. Miramar's engine bay is too small to put there turbo model, so turbo will be without model( --- Post updated --- Hood exit done, check photos --- Post updated --- Models are done, final photos -
I was modding at random these 2 month and now can say that custom car based on miramar is out of my skill level. Nobody teached me how to mod and even how to do models in Blender. So Miramar will be without custom suspension. After Miramar I'll do custom Vivace and release Alpha version on repo maybe in April (after month or two from now). Mod always will be updating on Patreon from now (but idk when will start fixing Miramar, probably before April) When mod will be released, I want to try myself at doing car from nothing (Yes without any knowlege about texturing, Jbeam nodes and other difficult things ) P.S. Tell me what car you want to see (maybe I'll port model from other game and redo it or do it myself)
Give me your suggestions about car which I'd try to do (Pls dont suggest car that are made by other people) P.S. Subaru/All VAG(Audi, Skoda, VW, etc) cars are in priority. And some JDM cars) Subaru goes brbrbrbr
I know that you like hq mods, so I will start learning everything I see, because without knowledge a good mod cannot be made. Perhaps in the process of learning, various mods on which I trained will appear in Patreon or the Repository. Then I will return to the only goal that motivates me to make mods - Devil Z. So I'll second time will put this mod on hold.
Hey, good luck on learning man, I'm sure you'll do great, even without that much experience you did some amazing jobs as of now, it's only uphill from here, and I'm sure there are pther people on this forum that would be glad to help you on this journey, use the BeamNG documentations as well (even outdated there are stilll some relevant information there specially for newcomers to modding)
Some update spoilers) Progress: Bolide pack reworked, ETK I pack 85% done. P.S. CRC is not dead, I'm just bad at texturing, so now will revival my old mods like bolide)
