Maybe it should be a light that shows when you are driving as efficient as possible in the gas models. How about it's just an image of a leaf like Honda does with their Eco Mode?

 

Looking at that, I believe that you had to make a "new" unibody part just to have the different gauge cluster. Did you add some reinforcements on it to make it safer for 2015 standards? Because as is, it was bad even for 2009, even worse for 2015

While this looks nice, wouldn't a less edgy sans-serif font work better? Something akin to what Hirochi already used on the pre-facelift Sunburst? Either way, nice job.

 

Very beautiful, but keep the speed on the center of the screen and the gear at the bottom right would be a better configuration imo.

 

yeah i agree. unless the car is manual, i dont see the need for a large gear indicator

 

In response to both of these, the gear indication is nowhere else than the screen, while the speedometer is also analogue. You can read both from, even, my rather high FOV driver position.

 

I like the way the sun-e sounds like a jet from inside. Just a small details I noticed about the gauges, that you have the speedometer in mph but the temp gauge in Celsius and it kinda looks weird. If it’s an imperial cluster the temperature should be in fahrenheit, unless you just leave off the units completely and just use H and C for hot and cold

 

The Brits are wierd. Speed in MPH, temperature in Celsius.

 

I specifically made the temperature unit separate from the others, because of Theo. The temperature unit on the gauges actually depends on the temperature setting, and not the length setting like the other units.
The MPG is the American MPG, not the British.

I mean tbh thats like every car unless u look at the gear selector itself. Like on the Pasat they have the speed in big text and the gear on the top left and its a bit smaller.

 

Oh so it changes based on your chosen units for the temperature display. That’s cool.
