Could not find this on search or wiki. I am still new to Beamng. I put down a simple road and used one of the Beamng default asphalt roads. I notice that when I slam on the breaks or peel out it shoots up dirt from the road. I tried 3 different cars. Is this because of the material under the road? What gives? I am not at my game pc now so I cannot pull up the editor, is it a simple configuration fix? I also notice no skid marks. Thanks.

You mean create a texture called asphalt and put it under the road using the paint terrain editor? So then it does have to do with ground underneath and the road itself is just paint. At this point it would be simpler to rename my default ground cover to asphalt. Thanks I will try it when I have a chance. I know when I created my own texture for a sand road, to get it not to have skid marks I had to change the name to sand2 (I think that was it).
