I've been working on this race track for my other project, it's a 1/5 mile lightly banked oval track. It is also one of the few tracks that still runs figure 8 races. It's still very WIP, I'm trying to figure out a way to texture the track mesh using detail maps, layer maps, or something similar but I haven't had much luck and it seems like there isn't much for documentation in those areas. Go check how "The Originators" textured "Paperclip Park" Dont rip their textures obviously, but looking into how they did it might help! Or any of the import from other game maps that are floating around online
cant wait for this to come out, i used to go here every saturday night with my dad as a kid to watch the figure 8 races.
