Update Speculation thread

This has got to be the worst try at April fools ever.

 

It’s ok… I wouldn’t call it the worse April fools joke ever. Probably convinced a few of the young ‘uns lurking around here.

 

I think if there is a career mode then there will probably be a rally career as well. Driving the rally cars in beamNG is absolutely amazing, so it would make sense. Also, not many cars would have to be loaded at the same time. There will probably never be races with a 24 grid because it simply requires too much cpu performance.

 

career mode will probaby include rally.
And there are already races, of couse not with 24 cars but with 4-8 it's possible

 

Nah, it was nice. Very predictable, yes, but it still is somewhat effective.

Back to speculation: it certainly takes a lot of time to create a cohesive feature like Career Mode has to be. But it seems that the picture dart posted is somewhat smoothing the ground as to the variables at play in this feature.

So now we know why the dev team has been quiet lately ... they've been busy testing mission routes for the community contest!

we thought of everything under the darn sun for why they where inactive, and not once did we consider they where just... playing the game
at least we know now

Now that the staff members announced the results of the Community Mission Routes Contest, I wonder if the routes created by the winning entries will be incorporated into the game as official scenarios in a future update. After all, why else would they host said contest? The staff members' comments on the blogpost might support this possibility.

By the way, congratulations to the winners of the contest

 

Maybe they will be incorporated with a potential T-series Remaster? it seems to be logic

Maybe they just wanted to engage the community and there is no hidden message?

 

2 theories of mine.
Theory 1: The contest was just for fun.
Theory 2: There might be a small part of Campaign mode added? or a new type of mission?
But hey, thats just a theory!
