This mod is made in cooperation with @Snowmaster and @PommesPanzer

    Download: https://www.beamng.com/resources/wentward-eu12m.27745/

We decidet to make a version of the Wentward with an european layout. These things will be changed:

    EU Wheelbase
    Improve Windows and Windscreen
    Improved Seating
    New Steering Wheel
    European outside swing door

We are both beginners so it will take a lot of time until the release.

@Snowmaster : Jbeam editing a bit of the 3D model
    @PommesPanzer : 3D Model

My suggestion for the frame is to use the most components from the Vanilla citybus as possible. Use NodeMove on the suspensions, for example instead of making a copy of the vanilla suspension but incompatible with other mods.

Yes the complete model is vanilla, i changed the wheelbase by moving the nodes (it was horrible). Only the new Steering wheel won't be vanilla.

I made new headlights which look a bit more european. I used the MAN sd 202 as a guide. If you have any other suggestions, please let me know

Let me be very short and simple, so here is a list of things I would like to see (and I hope you consider making some):

    Interior:
    • windows should be closer to one another (try to reduce the gap between window frames)
    • interior handrails in multiple textures (colors like blue, orange, grey, or maybe even worn-out textures)
    • new door design - both (left and right) door wings made entirely out of glass (replacing the current door with four pieces of glass)
    • redesigned interior handrails
    • new (or redesigned) driver's cabin - new door separating the driver from passengers, plexiglass for driver's protection, new back panel separating the passengers from the driver (the panel located behind the driver's back)

    Exterior:
    • new front glass (replacing the current glass that is separated by the line in the middle)
    • new (or working) wipers for the front glass
    • updated (or new) side, back, and front display
    • redesigned front lights (I like the ones from Iveco Crossway LE CNG - will post pictures of it below)
    • redesigned back lights
    • option to tint the windows (especially the ones in the passenger area)
    • complete makeover of front mirrors - they should be bigger and longer

I'll put pictures of buses from my city as references or ideas for some of the things I suggested. The busses in the pictures below are Iveco's Crossway LE CNG and Man Lion's City G.

Picture 1: tinted windows and reduced gap between windows:

Picture 2: front mirrors, glass, and display

Picture 3: front doors (fully made of glass)

    Picture 4: back lights

Picture 5: driver's cabin (plexiglass separating driver and passengers can be seen on the right side of the photo):

Picture 6: seating order in the back:

Picture 7: front lights (Crossway LE CNG):

Nice suggestions, but remember that the Wentward is a 80s/90's bus, and ALL your suggestions are from WAY more modern buses

I don't see why this bus couldn't get a few newer stuff added to it.

Its like adding 2000s stuff on a Covet. In order for you to make all those modern things talk to each other, you'll end up with a whole new body. If you are going to remake 99% of it, it wouldn't be a Euro Wentward. You'd get a late 2000s European bus.

    Thanks for your Suggestion!
There were some really nice ideas and I hope we can implement them in the future, but the first version will only contain what is stated in the main message (because we are still beginners and don't know much about 3D editing). However, it is possible that future updates will include your ideas.

The doors should be slightly wider (if that's not too much work) and also EU buses (my experience playing OMSI2 and also the busses we have in Australia are also quite european) have a single glass pane the whole length of the door and a hand rail on the door itself

You could use the Side parts from the O'405
    --- Post updated ---
And using the Rear of the N4016/N4020/N4021
    --- Post updated ---
And use some Parts (Like Bumper) from the Neoplan N4016/N4020/N4021

    It's On Hold for right now;
    Giving suggestions now is useless.

Other bumpers are possible, but we can't make other side panels yet, because we don't have enough experience.

Have you maybe considered anything about the front and back doors or do you plan to leave it as it is for now?
