ye thats true but things can always be improved --- Post updated --- Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees. This mod is gonna be so good even from the beginning. A lot of effort and a lot of work has gone into this and i think we all appreciate your work man. Even if offroad variants don't come, its still gonna be the best mod out there bro. Keep it up mate. --- Post updated --- Yooo thats pretty cool. I know they were gonna release the Pontiac G8 ute but then Pontiac died aswell. The only chevy Holden ute was the lumina which was in Africa im pretty sure. I don't think they sold an SS ute but i could be wrong. --- Post updated --- Yooo thats pretty cool. Wait i gotta question. How long do you think this'll take to be released like months or years or weeks.
With the amount of content in this right now probably about a year or so more for the beta release but lets not start the topic about release dates
Well, I will leave this here. There is still A TON of work to do. Hell I haven't fully got the Ute or wagon models done yet. I am considering releasing the sedan early, but idk yet. As for timeframe, a while is all I can say, I am still only doing this in my free time so it will probably take a while.
That actually sounds like a proposition down the line. Releasing the sedan early might help with testing and tracking down bugs and anything you might've missed. But that's only if you're okay with it. Another positive is that (IMO), it will keep us hooked waiting for the next big update to trickle down, much like the game itself. Ultimately mate, it's up to you. The only thing I can say besides is just keep working on it as lovingly as you've had up until now. This is already miles better than what other meshslaps we can find. And maybe someday we can hope for someone else to give love to the last Aussie Falcons much in the same way as you've given love to the last Commos.
Theres this insane commodore that they made in 2008 and it was called the HSV W427. W427 was to celebrate 20 years of Walkinshaw or HSV. W427 standed Walkinshaw (i guess is what that W stands for) and a 427 big block chevy v8. They put a 7.0l v8 in a commodore thats the size of a Camry. Aussie cars were pretty cool though. I haven't heard of sticking a 427 big block v8 in a Camry and actually making it for people. --- Post updated --- BTY The VF I did not come with an LS3 and they didn't badge it. It Came with an LS2. not that it matters.
I will definitely get closer to being done with the sedans before I make a decision. Yep, and if and when I do the VE, that will be one of the models. Also, yeah I did fix that a little bit ago just didn't update the post.
BTY The VF I did not come with an LS3 and they didn't badge it. It Came with an LS2. Allgoods mate. You don't have to the VE i was just saying austrailians are pretty crazy with their cars but it would be nice to see.
BTY The VF I did not come with an LS3 and they didn't badge it. It Came with an LS2. not that it matters.
that's incorrect, the series 2 had ls3 and it was badged
that's incorrect, the series 2 had ls3 and it was badged
Yes you are correct, I meant to say I removed the ls3 badge from the series 1 bumpers
Series II VE - Series I VF non HSV models had the L77, which is based on the LS2/LS3 (although I’ve heard you can put on LS3 Heads and basically have an LS3). The VZs had the L76, up until 2006 when the VZ Series II Thunder Utes we’re fitted with the L98, which was based on the LS2. This motor was also used in some VE models, and was added to the VZ Thunder Ute as a final edition, and because the VE Ute had not yet been released at the time. Along with the L98, the L76 was used in the automatic VE models, and both of these were replaced by the L77 for the Series II VE. The L77 was then replaced by the LS3 for the Series II VF models. Of all the motors, I’d argue the L98 is the best of them all, especially cammed. Good mate of mine has a VZ Thunder with the Six Speed T56 Manual box, loves a back road
that's incorrect, the series 2 had ls3 and it was badged
I said VF 1 mate, Series 2s came with em but the series one came with an LS2 and the Series one Holden not chevy had a LS3 badge on it. The chevy might have an LS3 badge cause it came with an LS3 but you had to get an HSV for an LS3 or an LSA in Austrailia and NZ. --- Post updated --- that's incorrect, the series 2 had ls3 and it was badged
Did you not see the captital i
Okay, these are the NON-HSV engines. These will be the offered engines in the mod: --- Post updated --- Possibly, maybe not right away but eventually I want to have some race versions.
This should hopefully put the LS2 argument to rest. Basically none of the VF Series 1 cars had that engine. L77... And I just remembered the Holden Caprice, or more specifically the PPV Caprice for the US, which I'm still struggling to buy! Those WN's are a hard find in Florida! Anyone knows if there's any game that included the Caprice? Just so we know if there's a free model we can find.
