Yep, I read that... as does Chrome, IE, Firefox, Brave, and Vivaldi. So you're almost always screwed, which did you pick?

If you truly care about a browser sending some requests to Google just use something like Ungoogled Chromium like you mentioned above, maybe even modifed Pale Moon or its XUL cousin, Basilisk (even if I'm not sure whether it's the same on the privacy side).

I personally don't care all too much, and while privacy is always on the back of my mind I don't go out of my way to have it.

how is the process for adding the mod to the game done? just reinstalled this after deleting it previously due to the faulty textures

 

The mod makes the ibishu fender no texture (this was before the update too)
