I have been enjoing the Trapez mod for a while and thought about racing it, so here is the result going against SirSilverLXVIII: FPS Trapez M78 Magistral Mod - Stock config - Default tune Time: 11:06.679 Did manage to beat SirSilvers time despite screeching my tires nearly constantly. I also wondered how much faster the later 1.6 MPi Trapez would be, so I gave that a go aswell: FPS Trapez Coral Grus Mod - Stock config - Default tune Time: 10:39.279 I was really surprised to find such small improvements, specially due to the fact the Grus is like 30 years newer than the Magistral? Anyway, both cars had the same issue for me: weird brakes. I never knew if or which wheels lock up in any corner which made driving them rather scary.
Some help I cannot find how to do a time trial with a car that has customs settings or a mod. e.g. I want to change the tire pressure or reduce the fuel on the tank and then do a time trial.
Impressive time. Really a custom config without any game file changes? My custom config isn't even close as fast.
Just a custom config with everything non-aero stripped and more power. Didn't change anything in the game files, though I wouldn't know how to prove that. I was also surprised I was significantly faster, but noticed that stripping made the car 12ish sec faster.
i havent completed the track here (because duh) but i will try to complete it in a Nissan Terrano and it has 95 ps lmao
Time:09:06.568 Vehicle: Barstow Nightsnake (M) (Modded* - Stock Config) Video *Note, the only mod I used was the Aftermarket Standalone Customizable Traction Control, as the Nightsnake is one of the most difficult vehicle in terms of handling.
Here is my time, I used the configuration that will be paired with my Diesel Moonhawk mod once I figure out how to do it correctly The config is attached, You have to put the .pc in this path: %localappdata%\BeamNG.drive\0.24\vehicles\moonhawk
Hirochi SBR4 - 6:24.786 Full Nordschleife course with rolling start. Vanilla (no mods), custom config, not stripped (on the exterior), AWD, NOs and auto. ETK ttc10 wheels with race tires, 19x10 on the back and 19x9 on the front. Sub-24 is definitely possible with this config. I'll see if I can link it, let me know how for this forum. I've thought about using the ETK ttx10 wheels but they only seem cosmetically different, though I haven't checked the files. If anyone has gone through the files to see weight and grip level differences, please let me know what the ideal (grippiest and lightest) wheels and tires would be. Hope you enjoy. Edit: I managed a faster time, but I wasn't recording and I did extend one corner so it's alright if it isn't counted: Edit: Edit: I managed a faster time of: 6:24.531. I was on my way to a sub 24 but butchered some corners. I'll upload the video tomorrow. The config is also now attached. Third Edit; achieved a new time: 6:21:267. This will be my final submission for a long while. Had a lot of quick runs that I bottled on the final stages. Fun fact, the back straight to the finish can pop your tires randomly, ask me how I found that out. This is using the same config. I believe another second can be found. Also, sorry for the music in the video, and yes that is what I hotlap to. If you see that the video is ten minutes long, the lap starts at 2:40 I will say that Der Kranker's time of 06:16.958 with a custom and stripped config seems legit, and beatable. In fact I have beaten it, but my driving in the video is a mess and I could save at least two seconds. I'll formally post a time another day. I have to say that everyone's driving is truly commendable, especially the RWD and bolide drivers. The bolide especially, escapes me anywhere near the limit. I hope you all have a good time on the green hell. Update: After a little bit of testing, the Wangan-2P tires seem faster, at least on the first checkpoint on the way up the hill, getting sub 43.500 much more consistently than with the other tires. 19x11 on the back and 19x10 on the front. It is slightly more over-steery and needs the gear ratio changed slightly.
Those are some impressive times. Well done . Stick to the middle-right side of the main straight to avoid tire popping.
Hope it’s not too late to add to this leaderboard. Chased this lap for 3 hours Time: 4:44.384 Vehicle: FR17 (Modded - Stock Config custom tune)
