Case: Failed demonstration, April 1, 2022

Crash Description: When online pranks started spreading on the internet, Cherrier decided to offroad their crossover, just in time for April Fool's Day. The marketing team traveled from Paris to Firwood with a driver and a Tograc, and they were told to show the public it could offroad. The car successfully demonstrated a suspension flex and its crawl control system, when the driver crossed the highway to entire another ditch, he took it faster, starting to risk rolling the car. When the car ended up at the end of the ditch, it was almost stuck on its side, damaging the passenger side door, and causing damage to the engine due to oil starvation.

    Injuries: None

Damage: Slight damage to the passenger side of the vehicle, such as the doors.

    Car Used: 2022 Cherrier Tograc

    Map Used: East Coast USA

Aftermath: With the Tograc stuck on its side, the cars system alerted both roadside assistance and emergency services. The driver, Pierre Cherrier, founder and CEO of the brand, was eventually caught in the crashed vehicle, and on his way back to the airport, a semi truck sideswept the car he was riding in at 60 mph, killing all occupants inside, and Cherrier was just 29. After the news spread of his death, an American businessman became the new CEO of the car company, and the American was hated as his decisions laid off thousands of workers, reduced car quality, and caused increased material costs, leading Cherrier to the "dark ages" (2022-2037) of its history, with the brand going defunct in 2042 due to filing for bankruptcy, and the former CEO was arrested for not paying employees up to a total of $100 million, causing controversy around the brand in late 2040 and early 2041, and the EV production discontinued in 2039 with the last Tograc E being sold 197,000 times over 19 years and 1 generation (which received a facelift for 2028)

Description: Losing consciousness leads to expensive crash, July 8, 2016

Case: Chad Smith, a 43 year old entrepreneur and CEO of Bruckell Gavril USA, was taking the new Bastion to a car meet in Belasco City by transporting it on his Gavril 6x6 he created in 2012. After arriving in the city, and turning around to travel west, Chad suddenly passed out, crashed into a highway ramp, flipping the 6x6 and launching the muscle car, causing expensive damage to both cars. The car wreck was not notified to emergency personnel, and the car was found and recovered 2 days later by a retired police officer, Bill West, 77, who transported Smith to the hospital, and eventually saved his life.

Damage: Both the truck and Bastion were totaled, as Smith had no insurance.

Injuries: Hospital personnel noticed a broken arm, leg, and other bruises. It was confirmed the wreck was caused by a sudden, severe heart attack that might have killed Smith.

    Cars Used: 1992 D Series 6x6, 2017 Bruckell Bastion

    Map Used: West Coast USA

Aftermath: After Smith recovered from the wreck, he noticed his creation and his company car wrecked, which he hesitated to report. Time passed, and his company eventually fired him due to the company, as the company car, the one being transported for advertising purposes, was now totaled. The Bastion was crushed, and his 6x6 was destroyed in front of his home. Smith eventually worked for Turbo Burger, and he was killed in a severe accident in early 2022, when his rideshare driver lost control and crashed into a freeway barrier at 80 miles per hour, and ironically, Smith was also in a Bastion. During the funeral procession, Bastion police cars were also used.

Case: Distracted driving and speeding leads to fatal car wreck, March 8, 2009.

Description: Mark Johnson, 73, is driving his Rayton Arrona down a Utah highway, going 90 in a 45 zone, while also texting his family. Just up the road, the Brown family, consisting of father Paul, mother June, sister Sarah, and brother Robert, were in their Rayton Meridian, and both parents are outside the broken down car, when Mark crashes into the vehicle, instantly killing both children in the rear seat, sending both cars down the highway.

Injuries: Both Sarah and Robert died when the speeding SUV rear ended their car. The parents were severely injured when the car slides towards them, knocking them both onto the ground. Mark was also killed instantly as he was thrown out the windshield, and he was thrown 40 meters down the road traveling 110 mph in the air.

Damage: Both cars are totaled, but the Aronna was fixed at a later date.

Vehicles Used: 2008 Rayton Arrona, 2001 Rayton Meridian (both by Urbanmaid, links to vehicles are attached to the download link for the urbanlore thread)

    Map Used: Utah, USA

Aftermath: When being alerted of Mark's death, the Johnson family immediately rushed out to the scene in their old Egos. Seeing both wrecked cars, with the two survivors from the Brown family, the Johnson family immediately jumped to conclusions, and tried to sue the Brown family $200,000 for "vehicular manslaughter". However, when police analyzed the scene, it was determined that Mark was at fault. However, when investigation on the wrecked SUV began, there was no seatbelt light on the dashboard, which is a safety concern. Later that day, Central Utah University went to the scene of the wreck, and realized how the two children died. It was discovered that both children were thrown against the seat and the door, instantly killing them. The Brown Family sued the Johnson family for $300,000, and they won. The family bought an Aronna after the recall for the seatbelt light was issued. During the BHTSA recall, it was issued that 450,000 Aronnas sold between 1/1/2007 and 3/1/2008 had to be sent to the dealers they originally came from. The dealer, selling Mark his Aronna in July 2007, eventually repaired the car, including fixing the recall, and later sold the car in 2012. The Meridian appeared in multiple BHTSA campaigns from 2009-2017, and in 2018, it was crushed.

Case: Turning fail leads to pileup, May 1, 1992

Crash Description: A local dealership worker, who wishes to remain anonymous, was driving to Jefferson Motors, when he ended up crashing into a pole turning left to drive to work. The Jefferson family was driving home from a trip at the mountain when they see the wreck, causing them to lay on the horn and wreck. Shortly after the blue sedan hits the truck, an orange Barstow, owned by another anonymous driver, was driving home from Horizon Estates, when he sees the wreck, and eventually drives into it at full speed.

Injuries: The Barstow driver was flung through the windshield due to not wearing a seatbelt, and later died of his injuries. The dealership worker had severe injuries, including multiple broken bones, whiplash, and a concussion. All members of the Jefferson family had little to no injuries.

Cars Used: Gavril D10 Charro, ETK I Series, Gavril Barstow

    Map Used: West Coast, USA

Aftermath: The Barstow driver's family sued Gavril for not including seatbelts in the Barstow, and they eventually lost that case, as the car was over 20 years old. The dealership worker eventually made a full recovery in the hospital, and later bought a Pessima. All members of the Jefferson family bought a D35, and they eventually bought the dealer the D10 driver worked at, naming it Jefferson Motors.

Injuries: No serious injuries, however, the old man did not want to cover the extensive repair costs for his car due to the age and condition of it.

Cars Used: 2008 Gavril Vertex, 2021 Bruckell Bastion

    Map Used: Utah

Aftermath: The Bastion, which was a vehicle owned by an AJ's Auto Repair employee, was sent to the repair shop at a nearby dealer. The old man's Vertex was totaled, and he bought an ETK800. The accident was fairly minor, so the drivers exchanged information and waited for a tow truck.

Case: High speeds and not paying attention to other vehicles lead to fatal wreck, May 9, 2018

Crash Description: Two delivery company workers, who has anonymous identities, were leaving their work to deliver a package to Turbo Burger. On their way, a stopped flatbed truck, which had a mechanical breakdown, was waiting for assistance when the van rear ended it at 80 miles an hour. Emergency personnel were not notified due to all parties having fatally injured occupants.

Injuries: The van passenger was killed when he was crushed by the safety cell of the car, which had practically collapsed. The van driver suffered from extreme whiplash from the g forces, and was later found with multiple broken bones, including broken ribs and skull fractures, and died 4 days later in the hospital. The semi driver was killed when he was hit by the van on impact.

Safety Information: The Gavril H Series was tested for crash safety by the BHTSA in 2001 for the 2002 model year. The car received 3 stars for the front test rating, 2 stars for both side impact tests, and 3 stars for the rollover test. The semi truck had no safety ratings. The van had seatbelts and airbags as standard options, however, a recall issued in 2009 involving airbags not deploying was never tended to. The semi truck had a seatbelt installed, as well as reflectors for night time driving. The driver standing outside the truck was not paying attention to other vehicles. The accident was not caused by a steering issue or popped/deflated tire. The crash was not caused by changing road conditions, disabled traction/stability control, or any mechanical failure, therefore, the driver is at fault.

Cars Used: 2002 Gavril H Series, 1977 Gavril T Series

    Map Used: West Coast, USA

Aftermath: The delivery company tried to sue Gavril for the crash, however, maintenance records on the van never showed any repairs or recalls tended to, and the delivery company was sued by the truck driver's family. The company, unable to operate after the lawsuit, closed its doors in 2021, after being 450 thousand dollars in debt. The semi was repaired and retired, while the crushed van was used in a safety PSA by the BHTSA for paying attention to surrounding cars while driving. Funerals were held for everyone one week later.

Case: Car gets cut off due to not looking at mirrors, 20th May 2014, 15:12:48

Description: The male driver of an Autron Petitron, 18, drove away from Norte towards Castello with 2 other occupants, both male,18 and 19, onto the on-ramp. At that same time, a female, 41, and 3 other occupants, a male, a female minor and a male infant, age 43, 5 and 2 months, was driving a Rayton Arrona from Fastello towards Castello. The Arrona was driving 90 km/h at the time of the accident. At 15:12:46 the Petitron entered the highway, in front of the Arrona. The driver had 1¾ of a second to react, hit the brakes, which resulted the car decelerating from 90 km/h to approximately 76 km/h, and swerve to the fast lane. After the crash, the Petitron hit the guardrail and came to a rest. The driver of the Arrona lost control, span a few times before coming to a rest.

Injuries: The driver of the Petition had two broken legs and a broken rib. He can't walk anymore. The other 2 occupants got minor injuries. Apart from some injuries from the airbag the 4 occupants of the Arrona could walk away from the accident.

    Cars:
2000 Rayton Arrona, registered as AQ 401VB, 1990 Autron Petitron, registered as AC 944ST. That registration was proven to be false, the original one being FP 963NF.

    Damage: Rayton: €72.953, declared written-off. Autron: €53.022, declared written-off.

Location: On-ramp exit Norte, heading towards airport, Italy.

Aftermath: The Norte Police Department was in charge of the investigation. The family of the driver of the Petitron sued both the driver of the Arrona and Cherrier, because Autron merged with Cherrier in April 1999. The Autron was not fitted with an airbag, but at the time it wasn't mandatory plus this was a trim level without airbags. Based on witness reports, the driver of the Petition had cut off the Arrona. In it's final report, the Petitron driver was found at fault. The driver got 2 days in jail and a 1000€ fine. It was never discovered why the Petitron had false plates. The infant, now 8 years old, and the child, now 13 years old, are doing fine.
