well last time was 13 days without teaser so we probably will see something at Tuesday

 

Hey, updating Cliff would be a worthwhile task!

Sure it functions fine as-is, but remember that the game is being upgraded across the board with PBR. At some point, Cliff will probably get some fresh terrain visuals and updated rock & vegetation assets.

Granted, I wouldn't expect it to ever be the centrepiece of an update, but I do think that a Cliff remaster is an inevitability.

 

The Cliff map itself shouldn't be turned into a map like Cliff Roads because it has its own importance in the game. It's a no-nonsense map, for those who want to test the properties of gravity and the properties of the crash model (edit: plus the properties of the handling model, for those who want to climb it up starting from the bottom, from the beach).
Unless...

...they do it this way. Have the classic Cliff map and a Cliff Roads version coexist. Both maps have their unique spots after all!

"Just a heavily updated gridmap" is an understatement, I believe, since the Dev Team remade it literally from scratch/from the ground up.

i hope it's a sign that we are close to release date
well it's only a sign that apart from the two cars perhaps nothing new is about to come

 

Just a reminder that Leeloo actually said in the Traxion interview that they deliberately don't do the teasers in a predictable fashion so people don't go all crazy thinking that a teaser being shown or not is a sign of an update coming soon
Also, the 1st update of the year has been at the end of march/start to mid of April for almost every update since they started this 3/4 months between updates thing so there's no reason it would come a month early this time

2 weeks without a teaser and this happens. This thread is DEFINITELY a massive social experiment.
