I had no idea that this skin, as simple as it looks, would be so hard to paint lol. I'm trying to make the lines thin, just as thin as the real life one, theyre only like 5 pixels wide so getting them to lineup 100% has been slightly challanging. I've been at it for an hour, and the lines are starting to match. I gotta work tonight, so I don't expect this one to be done until tonight after work or tomorrow morning sometime. But, shes coming along nicely!
Yeah, matching lines on the template so it can look in-game is challenging, I can tell from experience since in the past couple of years I created scheme for other games.
My thing personally is, if I can match 1 side of the front end, I’ll pretty much copy/paste it over. I use the line tool for straight lines and making curves when I need special ones, so when I have 1 side of the front done, I redraw the lines over the old one, and using my arrow key drag it across the same pixel line. It’s time consuming but so far it’s the easiest way I’ve found to do it. --- Post updated --- Another thing I like to do is, if there’s a bottom trim that’s 2 colors (let’s say black and white, black base that is as tall as the Jack opening with a white line up towards the top but leaving enough room for a black pinstrip to still show) I’ll do the black base as tall as I want the whole thing, then draw the line over the base by copying the line then changing the size. It’s little things that I’ve been picking up on that’s making it a lot easier to do skins in a timely manner

Crash model is poopoo, you can't change the skins on the car if you get bored you gota load up a whole different car from the vehicles list, and I couldn't find a template for skins
You're welcome! I also play with the mods, so personally I'd want them to look good lol. Here's a rendering of the Kahne allstar car finished! --- Post updated --- It'll come out with the 2018 All-star pack. It's taking longer to do than expected, and throw my always changing work schedule in the mix, it's kinda hard to say when they'll be done. I'd say by Wednesday afternoon or sometime Thursday --- Post updated --- I've got 2 of the skins done tonight. Here's Ryan Newman's 2018 Allstar race scheme

Sorry for not responding in time, but nice, you figured it out on your own! --- Post updated --- Yes. But if you want the 1LE template then here you go.
Just finished Jamie McMurray's scheme, I'm gonna do 1 more and then I will release the 2018 Allstar skins I have
I've cleared my cache multiple times, but whenever I load in my custom paintscheme, it always shows the "No Texture" texture. Can someone help me with this? I'll upload the file aswell.
THE 2018 ALL-STAR PACK IS FINISHED! There is Jamie McMurray, Ryan Newman, Kyle Larson, and Kasey Kahne's schemes run from this race! I will be hooking up my new computer now, let me know what you guys think!
