Is there any chance there will be an FD car? Specifically with a cut bumper?

yes I’m pretty sure where will be some sort of “pro drift” config that’s based off an FD car.

Which one do you mean? Cause it seems he’s had two color schemes on his s15:
    green-black-orange
    D0072423-A342-45BB-B0D9-8C1F7A2556A5.jpeg
    pink-black-green
    A9DCF06E-E83A-41BA-9912-641D0FA5BC5B.jpeg

either way both these liveries look sick so if I have good enough photoshop skills i’ll try and make em at some point

Hello, I've been looking at this Nissan Silvia thread for updates; I like Silvias too. I would like to suggest another drift variant; it's from Initial D, Hiroya Okuyama's Nissan Silvia S15.

Is it possible to make a cut bumper easily? I don’t mod at all i am just really into drifting. It looks like you would have to change to whole back portion. I think it would be cool, its just a thought (i have been keeping up with this thread for a while and i know it would be pretty difficult to do some like that so yeah) i am just really excited for this so i just thought i throw some stuff out there. (Edit: heres a picture of what im talking about but this isnt an s15)

this should be pretty easy, all i’d have to do is essentially just delete all the lower bumper vertices and delete some nodes in the jbeam. Now that I think about it i’d also need to adjust the unibody to have a sort of cutoff in the rear, I could do this by seperating the unibody into multiple parts or something.

I probably won’t recreate that many irl s15 builds as configs to avoid adding unnecessary clutter to the mod, but I want to have enough customisation to be able to create s15 builds like that one. So basically it probably won’t be a built in config but you should be able to recreate it with the parts available in the mod (hopefully).

My plan for drift configs that come default with the mod is this (still subject to change, configs will start being added way further in development then now):
    -drift missile config
slightly rusty paint, multiple dents, scratches, angle kit, some sort of bodykit, ~300hp, stripped interior, roll cage, window decals

    -stockish config
stock bodykit, ~250hp, wheels, coilovers, maybe subtle angle kit, rear seat delete

    -pro-drift config
custom suspension, cut bumper, livery, high-angle kit, stripped interior, ~500hp, maybe digital gauge cluster, roll cage, body kit

    -drift config
coilovers, ~280hp, angle kit, maybe roll cage, stripped interior, body kit, window decals

I actually haven’t thought of that, it’s not a bad idea so it’s possible.

Although no aftermarket parts are certain I would like to have a lot of small parts like that since they’re a lot of fun to make and play with. I’d definitely want more interior modifications then the normal dev cars, I’d want stuff like shift knobs, handbrakes, turbo gauges, stickers etc..

Also, I see with alot of mods there are multiple unibodies and certain sets of accessories come with only a certain unibody. I was wondering if that would be true for this because it would be really interesting if all accessories and parts in included in the mod period would be with all of the unibodies.

Tbh I don’t really know what the part structure of the mod will look like yet so I can’t say what modifications will be available with what unibodies (if there are multiple unibody options).

    update:

-adjusted suspension components to be more accurate and fit better (suspension is still based off 200bx although i might retexture it later)
    s15undercarriage2.png s15undercarriage3.png

    -modelled and textured rear seats
    s15rearseats.png

    -modelled plastic around rear seats

-switched to a different approach to making carpeting:
instead of making a separate carpet mesh in most areas (which causes clipping and bad deformation since the mesh is very close to parts of the unibody mesh) I will have a different unibody model with carpet textures applied and slightly altered geometry
