It's along the lines of an r9 270x, which I haven't been able to upgrade yet because of the current gpu situation, but I can assure you that there's no bottleneck. And I also have 16gb of ram. I remember the game running fine before the update. It just really doesn't add up that I was able to run the Nordschleife map at a near constant 60 fps with reflections on, to now only being able to do 25 to 40 fps even with them off. I would go as far as to say that this map would likely run better if I was on the 0.23 update. The default maps like italy run fine enough, but not as well as 0.23. And I just checked, Los Injurus still runs decently with 11 ai cars and has better performance than this map with no ai cars, which really makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Nordschelife still doesn't run anywhere near as well as before.
And some so called "moderation staff" gives me some arbitrary warning points over supposed "inappropriate language". This guy tells me to get a better pc even though it's better than his, with the only weak point being the graphics card, which still ran this game perfectly before this update. I don't want this to be just swept under the rug. The only modded maps that still run decently are ones like Los Injurus and Roane county, even with a dozen vehicles. These pbr modded maps are just not all that well optimized, especially with this update.
Maybe in NFS Most Wanted game, the road is already like that, it's bumpy, but the Most Wanted Physics just smooths the suspension out maybe. I play NFS Underground to Carbon and the road is bumpy when going uphill and downhill. And sorry for my bad English
Seems to be an issue with AMD GPU then. We are aware of the performance issues and other problems with them. Also usually AMD GPUs are worse in DirectX 11 games due to driver overhead killing CPU performance. So in the case of a map port like this (no lods, always the whole map loaded, lot of drawcalls, etc) will, unfortunately, affect your game performance, and additional issues with the game won't help you either.
A 9 year old gpu that was able to run this game perfectly before an update miraculously gimped the performance. --- Post updated --- I can run large maps in Assetto Corsa like Shutoko Project Revival decently. This is just a case of horrible optimization. And if Bob Blunderton can optimize his maps well, no reason other's shouldn't be able to do the same.
I have performance issues with a Gigabyte GT1030...…It can run other maps on normalish graphics but cant run this map on anything other than lowest. CPU : Intel Core I5-2400 GPU : Gigabyte GT1030 2GB RAM : 8GB HDD : 1TB HDD Motherboard : Dell Optiplex 990

i hope that you will improve graphics since this yellow filter and glow effect on cars doesn't look good. (seems like only PBR cars have glowing effect) Also the jump doesn't really work with cars that are tall enough. (The jump from the last pursuit) This bug also jumpscared me first time when i was driving full speed. I REALLY WISH THAT YOU WILL REMOVE THIS PISS FILTER
Ayo what the heck????!!!! Don't get angry now, no need for that and it isn't a "Piss filter", I personally like the Filter, you can disable it by going into photomode and exiting out of it. And if you've played NFS MW, you'll know that Filter is pretty similar to NFS MW. And if you dont believe me, watch this video --- Post updated --- It's part of the update, CK added a Bloom effect which doesn't look too bad IMO
yeah sure --- Post updated --- This is the piss filter. It doesn't look good in the game either and it's not just similar, but it's worse than in the game. I don't understand how would you think that i haven't played nfs mw after seeing me literally having m3 GTR in the pic. This "bloom" effect doesn't look bad? sure.

Just a heads up for everyone who is looking forward to upcoming changes: There's no changes coming as the original author who converted for AC hasn't made more changes to the map for months. It's still missing a large portion of the map and even with CarMighty's help in trying to reach out to people and handing out the map to potential helpful modders, I've received nothing in return. I've gotten no updates for again, months- so it looks like the NFS MW map will remain as it is. Please do not ask for more updates as I personally dont plan to make more changes and most likely wont make changes until the map has been fully built.
