This is a port of a map named Knjazevac made by ISavic who used 3d photogrammetry method to make it for Assetto Corsa. Knjazevac is a town from Serbia. With his permission I prepared the map for the BeamNG, also added AI path and time trial. This map is great for police chasing and cruising with traffic. But because this is a scanning using the photogrammetry method, this map is not optimized for BeamNG and to play this map at high (or above) settings you need at least 6gb of vram for smooth framerate. Also the 2.2gb of file size is caused by big chunks of meshes and massive textures. This is why the map has experimental prefix. ISavic's original video, don't forget to visit his channel to see how this map is made: Latest with v1.2: Known issues: -Junction grasses are pointy, might pop the tires. -It might take couple minutes to load first time. Fixed with v1.2: -Bridge railings are catchy, if you touch you can't escape. -While police chasing, suspects might choose dead end roads and crash. -Even the AI path optimized as much as I can, sometimes the traffic can do an unexpected U-turn. -Because this is not designed for BeamNG sudden fps drops can happen. I recommend using less than 8 cars for the traffic. More cars than this might cause unexpected traffic jam on every corner you go. If you have problems with this mod, please mention it in discussion thread, not in the reviews, thanks This video by me from before optimizations made by Car_Killer, before release: After some improvements, released v1: Credits: ISavic, making this map and giving permission to share in BeamNG Car_Killer, optimizing the textures and the meshes, dropping needed vram from 12gb to 5gb, Huge thanks Kolas, me, preparing the map for the BeamNG, adding features If you want to support my work, consider donating here: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/kolas
ISavic mentioned in his video that it took somewhere 240 work hours to make this map, so if you have the equipment you can make a map from anywhere in the world you like.
Whoops, I made a mistake. Rolling start working fine but I didn't checked the normal one, I fixed it but you need to change the file manually until I update the mod from repo. Unpack the mod then go to "mods/unpacked/knjazevac/levels/knjazevac/quickrace" folder and change the file with this new file. It must work.
could you 3d scan the shoutoko revival project? i would lopve to have the wangan highway for beamng badly
It's insane what games are achieving today. I think that in a couple of years, there will be an AI to convert any place on earth to a game map. MSFS2020 already has an AI that works very nicely. Up (very) close looks weird, but it still is insane, and for a racing game it doesn't have to generate a whole world, just a track. So an AI could be made to convert any dubious parts of google maps into something that resembles a racing track. Even if it doesn't work so well, it would reduce the work of doing this immensely. The racing game's future is looking very bright. Btw, thank you for the map, it still is downloading, but hopefully, I will be playing it soon. It is downloading from the repo, right now at 0.5GB and downloading at a rate of 150Kb/s. My internet connection is rated at 11Mb/s, anyone knows why it is so slow? I'm not doing anything else, just downloading the map.
Can you make the map clearer or can you enlarge the map because the map is very detailed and there are unnecessary barriers in some areas, please help me with what I said.If you work on what I said, I am sure it can be one of the most beautiful maps of the game.Good day!
Coming soon with v1.2: -sticky rails fixed -ai roads vastly improved -the ai vehicles/bus behavior improved -thanks to the latest update the ai less to non randomly u-turns now -added parking spots for the traffic

Playing this map with an oil-painting filter via reshade will blend real well with the quality of the buildings on the map. Just like how the GTAIV loading screens look: Think i'ma try out this map just to see how it looks with that kind of reshade filter..
