I have decided to junk my Mustang race car as it had some heavy frame damage that I did not anticipate.

Please stand by as a new Enduro vehicle will be announced.

    No, they didn't.

    They dropped two: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1961_Goldsboro_B-52_crash

And while we're being pedantic, the bomb's parachute was strung around the tree, but wasn't supporting its full weight. Both had several countermeasures to prevent accidental misfires and weren't particularly sensitive to shock or impacts, yet both were very, very close to detonating.

I didn't read that far. Either way, we were somewhat close to being nuked on accident.

Well I did it. I bought one of my dream cars.

I realize these are super overrated, and expensive, and not really a great "Dream car" but I love JDM and this is the closest I can get. To be honest I paid market value, did not really get a deal or anything, But it runs and drives and is a manual. Body has 230k miles, engine has 70k. Interior is good though, carpets all nice. Dash board cracked naturally.

Needs quite a bit, obvious paint and visual issues. Ordered a starter and I need to have the frame looked at. No major rust, but a small hole in the engine bay frame rail (smaller than a quarter), the rails under the body are fine.

Also the exhaust sounds like shit, gonna order a HKS one eventually.

good god the size of the fart can on that thing, you know that aint too bad a lookin car, and thats coming from a guy who like bricks. When you say the body has 230k miles on it and the engine only 70, is it a rebuilt or replaced engine ?

    Edit:
Oh some duct tape and blue tack will fix that hole in jiffy ;)

Yeah the engine was rebuilt 70k miles ago, so technically the engine has the full 230k but it was totally rebuilt adn refreshed. Feels and runs great. And the exhaust is ridiculous haha. Sits one inch above the ground underneath the car.

Yeah, I know, just want to see if I can actually get some answer :)

If this is referring to Ukraine, here's the situation. Russia has wanted to re-absorb Ukraine for a long time now, pretty much since the USSR was broken up. Putin recently declared that "However, Russia cannot feel safe, develop, and exist while facing a permanent threat from the territory of today’s Ukraine" before invading Ukraine (full speech here). The reasoning behind this is most likely Ukraine's modernization and intent to join NATO, which would make it almost unattackable. This is because NATO has an important part of their contract that says anyone who attacks one NATO member attacks them all. This includes the US, Britain, France, and Germany. Putin does not directly give that reasoning, but unfortunately he cannot be trusted, having also said the following: (from the same source)
Ukraine has made it very clear they are not in any way interested in joining Russia, but Russia continues to attack, contrary to the "interests of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people." Russia is bombing nuclear power plants, skyscrapers, roads, and schools indiscriminately, regardless of whether or not there is military use.

The rest of the world have to make their decisions now. Do they help Ukraine against this unprovoked foreign invasion, or do they withhold direct aid? Helping may start WWIII, due to NATO contracts, but not helping may let Ukraine be conquered when they have done nothing wrong. I am not making a statement on which I prefer, as forum rules 2.1.3 prevent me, but I hope I have laid out the situation and the options going forward in a way that allows you to understand and make an informed decision. I hope this helps! :)

Please take a minute out of your time to read this message,
You all know whats been going on at the moment, and most of you may know that a certain plane has been destroyed.
The plane that was destroyed, was the mriya, when i think back to my child hood i loved that plane, even to this day its what i immediately think of when i think aviation.
Hearing about it being destroyed hit me really hard. It felt like i had lost something really close to me even though i never saw it, there is 2 things at this moment i am wondering,
    1. What do other aviation enthusiasts on this forum think about it being destroyed?
    2. How hard did it hit you?
Im not trying to mention anything to do with politics or any other crap like that, i dont know any other aviation enthusiasts so this is the only place were i know a few are.

I ain't no aviation enthusiast, but I would feel the same if let's say Bugatti La Voiture Noire got burnt in a fire, since they both are one of their kind. I do feel disappointed for what's happening around the world right now

Arguing that you don't care about the right to privacy because you have nothing to hide is no different than saying you don't care about free speech because you have nothing to say. ------ Edward Snowden
