Actually, my primary inspiration was the first-gen Lexus LS400 and first-gen Crown Majesta, but as this is a badge-engineered car, they don't fit as much. Nonetheless, the main inspiration was Japanese full-size sedans of the 90s.
Ahhh okay makes more sense then in that way I just looked up the car and didn't really seem much like a luxury sedan to me lol.
will never beat toyota rebadging the toyota matrix as the pontiac vibe, than later rebadging the pontiac vibe as a toyota to sell in japan, because logic
You should give it amber blinkers instead of the red ones since all JDM cars are required to have amber blinkers
Yes, that's part of the plan although I had trouble trying to figure out which files I have to edit, gonna probably return to it later when I know how
mod is not finished yet, we still have to change the badges and do some visual stuff, this is just a start of the whole project
All 5th gen Celicas were built in Japan, and all 5th gen Celica convertibles were built at ASC in California This means that JDM Celica convertibles were first built in Japan, sent across the Pacific ocean to have the roof cut off, and then sent all the way back. Let's go places.
True, although it is a bit like the opposite IRL (LS400 was designed for the US market) I suppose this is what the game lacks - 90s JDM full-size. Although some might say this isn't quite a JDM, it is how close I can get to one with my skills and skills of people that are helping me (there are quite a few and I will credit them in the official release).
Yeah, I completely agree. The LS400 made its way into the UK too. You're doing a great job already man. I've tried making mods, and years into on and off practicing, I am finally getting the hang of modelling things. But man, it's tricky! Keep it up. You'll get there for sure.
